What are SkinnyFATS Catchups?

So, what’s the big deal about these catchups anyway, you may be asking?  It’s an All Natural, No GMO’s and Gluten Free condiment.  Besides being a great way to sauce up your favorite foods you can also create a plethora of different recipes to satisfy any foodie.  Let’s get the breakdown of each one available, shall we?

CHILLPOTLE – Chilpotle Catchup:  Once upon a pepper there was a smoked jalapeno named Chillpotle.  One day, H.I. Larius and Tomato came along… Larius proposed the opportunity for expansion of the mind and palate to all man, plant and animal alike to elevate as one.  The rest is condiment history.

JALATCHA – Jalapeno Catchup:  Once upon a tomato there was a jalapeno named Sally.  The boys were all intimidated by Sally because like most jalapenos she ran a little hot.  Bobby Tomato was not afraid.  The rest is condiment history.

PORKY PINEAPPLE – Pineapple Catchup:  Once upon a tomato, there was a pineapple named Porky.  Adopted at an unripe age, he thought he was a tomato.  As he grew larger and more prickly on the outside, he remained sweet on the inside; learning to live in harmony with others regardless of their differences.  The rest is condiment history.

There are a total of 5 savory selections and boy are the a great addition to any of your favorite dishes.  In addition, each of the catchups is produced in small, individual batches and the sauces not only taste great, but they avoid using high fructose corn syrup if at all possible.  Each condiment is 20 calories or less per serving and perfect to spice up or season any meal.

As many of you know, I’m a HUGE Hydro Flask supporter.  Everyone in my family owns at least two and I have an addiction sometimes, constantly wanting to pick up fun designs and colors.  So, I can’t tell you enough how excited I was to see Hydro Flask post sneak peaks of their Hawaii Collection on social media.  The day of the release, they actually hid several flasks throughout Maui and left clues for a scavenger hunt.  I didn’t get a chance to find one, but I was definitely excited to get my hands on one as soon as it hit our local stores.  Just in time for the holidays, the Hawaii Collection celebrates the spirit of Aloha with three gorgeous gradient colors and today I’m going to share them with you.

These gorgeous Hydro Flasks come in three colors – Moana, Anuenue and Pomaika’i.  They are inspired by the Hawaiian Islands and the special gradient color application is unique to this product release only.

Moana – which is inspired by the ocean.  Moana in Hawaiian means… “large body of water”.

Anuenue – which is inspired by the rainbows.  Anuenue also means “rainbow” in Hawaiian.

Each bottle comes with a wide mouth opening for faster fill and flow.  They include TempShield insulation which eliminates condensation and keeps water cold up to 24 hours and hot up to 12 hours.  Like with other Hydro Flask products, you can expect to have the durable 18/8 Pro Grade Stainless Steel Construction and it is BPA-Free and Phthalate Free.  These 40 oz. Wide Mouth bottles pair perfectly with the Hydro Flip Lid and Wide Straw Lids so you can customize how you drink from your bottle.

Living on a rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean means that many times, we are last on the list to have any new stores or establishments open.  So, because of this – I was quite excited to see that a new store made it’s way to the islands.  BoxLunch (a pop culture gift store with a cause) will be opening its newest location today in Aiea, Hawaii on the island of Oahu, at the Pearlridge Shopping Center.

BoxLunch will celebrate their grand opening in-store on Saturday, April 1st and Sunday, April 2nd from 12pm to 4pm.  BoxLunch offers a variety of thoughtfully curated selections of the world’s most popular licensed shirts, accessories, collectibles, beauty, home goods and gifts for everyone and anyone including the most dedicated fan to the more casual pop culture enthusiast.

What makes BoxLunch so awesome is the cause they work for.  To fulfill its civic mission of “Get Some.  Give Back”, BoxLunch will donate one meal to Feeding America for every $10 spent in-store or online.  BoxLunch is proud to support national hunger-relief efforts as well as local efforts through Feeding America’s nationwide network of food banks, including the Hawaii Foodbank, Inc. which will directly receive a percentage of the donations raised at the Pearlridge Center BoxLunch Store.  It is awesome that a store newly opened is giving back to its community – right here at home, in it’s own backyard.

“We are thrilled to open a BoxLunch in the Aiea community.  Our mission is simple, sell the best product and use our business to inspire and implement solutions to help fight the hunger crisis on both a local and national level.” – Robert Thomsen, Vice President, General Manager of Merchandising and Marketing of BoxLunch.

BoxLunch retail storefronts across the country provide a way for the general public to be exposed to hunger relief and offer a means for their customers to easily give back through their purchases.  The support has translated into more than two million meals donated to provide hope to families facing hunger in the United States.
