I am thankful that I don’t have puffy under eyes… though I’m constantly cautious and on my game because puffy under eyes or eye bags run in the family on my dad’s side. Let’s face it, with everything on the market today – there has got to be a product that I know will help combat this issue and prevent it from happening. Because of this issue that may be in my future, I use eye creams and gels and love to wear under eye patches to help keep my under eyes moisturized, tighter, brighter and smoother. Over the last few weeks I have been using under eye patches from Beneleaf Anti-Aging Skin Care. I have never heard of this brand prior to trying their products, but I think this will definitely be a household name in my home. When it comes to a Collagen Eye Mask – under eye patches, it is important that you find one that works and feel comfortable on. Here are my thoughts on this product.
Beneleaf’s Collagen Under Eye Masks retail for $24.99 (on sale now for $19.99) and come in a pack of five masks. These patches are made from a proprietary material called Hydrogel which is identical in structure to our skin cells. Once they come in contact with skin, the cells immediately begin to pull in all the nutrients from masks into the deepest layers of the dermis. Immediately after applying the masks, I felt like my under eyes were quenched and hydrated and I loved it!
The collagen masks include a unique blend of proven ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid (a favorite skin care product of mine), power antioxidants and peptides which result in tighter, brighter and smoother skin around the eyes. After the first use, I felt like my skin under my area definitely became brighter and didn’t feel as dry as it can be. What I love is that these are just so easy to use and leave absolutely no mess behind. The results last for days and I usually will use one once a week.
These masks do not stick and stay in place and do eventually start to slide if you are not laying down. So I normally apply them and then lay in bed with a magazine or get caught up on my favorite shows. As you can see from the photo above, they will start to slide down your face if you are not laying flat. It doesn’t bother me though, I like to take the time to really just enjoy 10-15 minutes of relaxation time and will lay down after applying.
How to apply:
- After thoroughly cleansing your skin, apply each mask under the eye area. (see photo) The largest part will go nearest to your nose.
- Allow the mask to sit and work for 10-15 minutes. Go ahead and lay down and relax.
- Once the time is up – carefully remove the mask. You do not need to wash the serum off as it will work as a great treatment and will soak into the skin quickly.
- Repeat the treatment as needed. I usually will use one every week or so depending on how my under eyes are feeling.
- Toss the mask away and you’re good to go till your next treatment.
These masks are suitable for all/most skin types: Dry, Oily, Normal and Combination skin. With my sensitive skin I didn’t notice any issues at all and it didn’t cause any flare ups or skin sensitivities. You will notice that any puffiness and dark circles you may have will be reduced quickly. I love that my skin feels tight and plump after one use and it’s great that these products do not contain Parabens or Alcohol.
If you use this product as I do, a pack of these will last you about a month – I use them once a week as needed. The product is priced pretty well and I love how soothing it feels under my eyes. On days where I feel like I had a crazy run around kind of time, I’ll put these on to help me relax and just enjoy the pampering. There is a light fragrance in these products, one I haven’t quite figured out yet, but it is not overpowering and did not bother my sensitivities to smell. I love the light cooling sensation these have on my skin and I find that putting the masks in the fridge prior to applying them (for about 30 minutes to an hour prior) makes for a great cool-off session during this hot summer heat. I definitely recommend these and can’t wait to use more products from this line.
So – what brands do you use for under eye patches? Have you used something like this before?

I love eye patches, and hyaluronic acid is one of my favorite secret weapons! The sound really great!
me too – love me some H.A. and these are great.
I’m obsessed with eye patches! I’ll have to check these out.
these are so nice and nicely priced too 🙂
These little things just don’t want to stay in place, do they? 🙂 I think out of all gel eye masks, the thick ones are my least favorite, because they slide all over my face.
lol the little buggers do slide so I thought that was the perfect photo to share. lol but I usually lay down when using them and don’t move for 20 minutes. lol I like the thick ones because they feel so cool on the skin and this summer is killer here in Hawaii 🙂
I’d love to try these for my dark circles!
I think you would like them 🙂
I could use a cooling eye patch today! It’s been stressful AND hot at work!
oh – you know what we have been enjoying lately in this Hawaii heat??? Those booboo ice packs you can get at the store for kids, they are so nice on the eyes… for hot days. 😀 These are great for that too 😀
Thanks for mentioning the sensitive skin, sometimes these types of masks irritate my skin.
yes – I have super sensitive skin and everything in these masks are what I use in my serums for the most part. No sensitivities and no eye burning – which was a plus for this girl.
I love these types of eye masks. I’ve never tried this brand but they look so relaxing! Anything to help out my tired and sore eyes sometimes!

I love eye masks like these. Must-try for sure!
Excellent price point. I was looking at pictures and wondered why one of the pads wasn’t under your eye so it’s good that you explained that away.
lol – yes, I took that photo on purpose, because it drove me nuts the first day I used them… but I realized it just made me have to lay down and chill.
I love the cooling feeling of eye pads. Baggy eyes run on my dads side too and I have stated noticing some on me :/
I feel ya… and I hate the bags, if I cry for any reason, I swell up like a balloon.
Those look so awesome!
I kind of love that these force you to really mellow out and relax.
Yes… I really like that… It makes me stop and go lay down… I love it.
I’m trying their 24k Gold eye patches, and enjoy them – but yes, they do slide right down! lol. Try putting them in the fridge before using them – so cool!
