I apologize that this post is finally live after months of waiting for approval. Since it was a review I had completed through Expo – I wanted to wait for it to be approved before I posted it here on my blog. My hair has gone through a few color changes since my video review was made, but nonetheless, my thoughts haven’t changed and I still feel the same about the product.
For those that do not know too much about my hair escapades… I have probably worn every color in the rainbow on my hair over the course of the last 10-15 years. I am naturally a medium brown haired gal – but having surfed for years and because of my nationalities, with just a little sunlight – my hair can turn near blond because of my Hawaiian and German heritage. Because of this, my hair has been accepting of color for a while and I’ve taken advantage of so for over a decade. I also come from a long line of people who get gray at a young age and very quickly – so I have been dealing with gray hair for the last 5 years or so, at least. I have used a few Clairol products for hair color in the past and was interested in testing this out so I was thankful for the opportunity. While L’Oreal is my go-to choice for drug store hair color, I was willing to give it a go and test it out.
The price point of the kit is fairly decent – ranging from $5.50 – $8.00 depending on the location, I consider that reasonable for what the product offers. The product works well as it says, but I did notice that if I had any more gray or needed a heavier touch up then what I had – I would have needed two bottles to complete the job. There was not much product in the box – at least compared to other brands I have tried in the past. It did cover my gray but it may not be a product I will run to grab should I need to do a touch up again. Check out my video review for all the details. While this video and post is not as in depth as my normal posts, you do have the just and idea of what I was getting at.
In my photo above – that is a better look at what I posted in the video. That is what my hair looked like prior to using the product. As you can see in the video – it did cover up the gray which is good.
