If you’ve been a follower on this blog for a while now, you probably know that for the most part of my adult life, I’ve had pretty clear skin. My skin hasn’t been perfect, but definitely to the point where I was able to discontinue using foundation a few years back and haven’t needed to use any “cover up” or face products to cover my skin issues. I wouldn’t call it flawless, but I could rock the natural look without feeling self conscious. However, so much has changed over the last six months. Due to health reasons (I promise I’ll get into more detail in a future post), I’ve had to deal with breakouts… yes, breakouts and pretty bad ones at that. My skin went from looking pretty good to “Dang, what happened to you?” in a matter of a few months due to a condition that I’m dealing with. I’m 37 years old and didn’t expect that I would ever have to deal with this. It has been interesting and traumatic all in wrapped up in one and today I’m going to share with you a product line that has been helping me to cope with the issue – some what. Today, I introduce you to Zapzyt.
So what the heck is this Zapzyt huh? Well, it’s an affordable acne fighting skin care line that consists of four products to you banish the unsightly bumps. Zapzyt is the REAL solution for REAL people and you don’t have to change up your beauty routine and regime to treat the issue, you can include Zapzyt to help battle the problem. Since my main reason for breaking out pretty much has to deal with my hormones, I have been using many of the Zapzyt products in combination with my already established routine to help treat my acne.
The Acne Wash Cleanser is an effective, yet gentle cleanser to help with my skin. It’s clinically proven to be safe and effective, even on my already sensitive skin and I really like the fact that this is a hypoallergenic cleanser – free of dyes and fragrances. With soothing ingredients like Aloe and Chamomile, I noticed a reduction of redness in the areas that I have break outs and I haven’t experienced any sensitivities while using this product. With 2% Salicylic Acid, the cleanser will help to degrease the skin and unclog pores to help reduce your breakouts. What I like is that this is a multi-use kind of cleanser and is perfect to be used on parts of the body like the back and chest. Did I mention this was affordable too?
The Acne Pore Clearing Scrub is another product that Zapzyt offers that helps with fighting acne. With tiny (natural) was microbeads to help gently exfoliate the skin while removing pore clogging dead skin cells. This scrub feels really nice against my skin and is perfect to help rid my skin of any dirt, oil and blackheads. With 2% Salicylic Acid to treat your acne and easy to use packaging, this product makes exfoliating a breeze.
Now a good acne skin care line must have a spot treatment in my opinion. I think a good spot treatment is perfect for zapping those zits quickly and helping to get rid of them before anyone notices. Zapzyt Acne Treatment Gel is probably one of my favorites out of the four that I’ve tried, though I do really enjoy them all. This little tube helps to clear acne pimples and blackheads quickly. It’s an odorless gel that is oil free and helps to vanish those little suckers to reveal your clearer skin. It has 10% micronized and non-irritating benzoyl peroxide (which is maximum strength) and is proven to reduce the appearance of acne within 5 hours. Yes, you read that correctly, 5 HOURS (not days). It is a water based formula and contains absolutely no alcohol to prevent over drying. It’s dermatologist tested and my sensitive skin has really enjoyed this product. It’s helped to clear up some of my breakouts without me having to worry about how I’m going to cover them up before going into public.
Lastly is the Pore Treatment Gel which helps to sooth that sensitive acne-prone skin. I’m all about products that are oil free so I love that these offer that for my skin. This gel has 2% Salicylic Acid that cuts through the greasy skin and penetrates the pores so that the treatment can get at the heart of those darn pimples. With Linoleic Acid to help strengthen skin glad walls and help to reduce formation of inflamed, swollen pimples and Aloe and Brazilian Botanicals to help reduce redness. This treatment gel penetrates the pores for hours for an invisible, moisturizing, oil free treatment. I put it in my t-zone to help combat the areas that tend to get oily (even if I have dry skin) and I also like to apply right in the hollows of my cheeks where I have bad breakouts, near my ears and hair line. I apply this product at night and watch the magic happen while I’m sleeping.
As I mentioned previously, I use this product in combination with my established skin care routine. Because these are meant to treat acne – I use it when I need it because my sensitive skin can experience dryness with over use or sensitivity. However, using as I need to combat my crazy skin issues hasn’t been a problem, I just like to be prepared in the case that it will. I make sure that when using these products that I keep them away from my eyes, lips and mouth and use the products as directed on the packaging.
Now, my problems with acne may be completely different from what you are experiencing, but so far these products from Zapzyt have helped me deal with this issue that I’ve been experiencing over the last few months. I don’t typically have acne prone skin so I’ve been struggling with my self-esteem issues the last few minutes. Thankfully Zapzyt came to my rescue and has been a huge help in me building my confidence back up again. Let me just tell ya, having pretty clear skin for years and then experience breakouts when you nearly 40… yeah, let’s just say that I had a rude awakening.
Zapzyt products are available online and at retailers like Walmart and like I mentioned before, it’s really affordable. For less than $25.00 you can pick up the set of four products to use. Honestly, it’s rare now a days to find products that work well like Zapzyt at such an affordable cost, so I know that my family and I can continue to use these products without breaking the bank.
So tell me, have you tried anything from Zapzyt before or is this something you think you’d be able to make use of? Comment below and let me know your thoughts.

This sounds like a great new product line for oily skin or acne. And if you can use it on your sensitive skin, it must be incredible. Plus it’s affordable. Good deal
definitely a good deal. I’m amazed at the price point and love that I haven’t had any sensitivities. My eldest is now a teen and dealing with the breakouts… not a lot, but enough to notice. I can keep up with this routine for him to use as well because we can afford it. 😀
Zapzyt worked well for me too! It’s a wonderful drugstore product!
I can use that gel for my monthly zits! For real, this sounds amazing.
I could definitely use the spot treatment because you can break out at any age!
This sounds like a really effective range of products! I am so glad that it has worked well for you, Honey!
