Most of those near and dear to me know that I might use makeup once a week and normally those days are the ones I find time to film a tutorial – lol. Don’t get me wrong, I love makeup and I love how makeup can transform a person and really ignite the spirit within them, but let’s face it – I live in Hawaii and most of my summer days… you can catch me without makeup, hair pulled back or up in a high bun and wearing a bikini. I will take the beach and ocean or the pool, over makeup any day of the week. lol With that said, I do still love makeup, but can rock out similar looks during the summer months. One of my favorites is a bronze and gold makeup look. Come on now, Summer is all about the Bronzed Beauty so come and join me for a tutorial on my summer makeup look. While this isn’t my go-to look (that one is coming up in the next week), this is one I’ll definitely be rocking the next month.

I wanted to create a look that would allow me to utilize some new goodies from Milani (that I am loving by the way) and also provide a makeup look and tutorial that consisted of affordable cosmetics. With exception to my Too Faced Shadow Insurance (would have used Milani if I had it), everything else is drug store and majority of the products down to my bronzer and highlight are all Milani. I hope you like this talk through tutorial – I wanted to talk story with all of you since I’ve been rushing through my makeup looks lately. Besides, it’s my girlie time with my makeup lovahs… so I figured I would just have some fun.

thank you Judy 😉 Hawaii is pretty warm year round, though we do have rainy days, deal with hurricanes usually from now till about November-ish and can have freak storms. Honestly, it doesn’t take away from how beautiful it is here. If you want to travel – I suggest our Winter months… normally from January to April because that is when the whales are here from Alaska and the North… it’s a beautiful site. Winter months are normally cooler… but still in the 80s. The flight from Hawaii to the East coast and back again is really not that bad. I have done it twice and both times with infant my first and 2nd time with my twins who were a year and a half. They took the flight well and it wasn’t that bad. My kindle was surely my best friend – read the entire Twilight Saga from beginning to end on the round trip. 😉 If you come – come to Maui and let me know 😉

I love these metallics. I can’t get enough of them lately. I tried the Mally face defender a couple of times, and I must be doing something wrong because it looks all cakey on me. Maybe I’m using too much, or it just doesn’t like my foundation. I want to like it so much!
