Ah, Hair Care is probably one of those holiday gifts that you don’t expect under the tree. Let’s face it – hair care really has to do with an individual personal taste, hair texture and overall likes. But, it’s always a fun thing to receive – especially if you’re not born with luscious locks and love trying new products. I’m always thankful to get new hair care under my Christmas tree because I go through hair products like I drink water. This holiday gift guide of hair care goodies is the perfect solution for that holiday stocking stuffer or something fun for your loved one that’s a complete hair addict. Good hair day, anyone?
Styling, Nourishment and Overall Hair Care – Macadamia Professional Hair Care has long been one of my favorite hair care lines. I remember using the brand years ago because I was taking the steps to enhance my natural curls and embrace them. You can find Macadamia Professional Hair products at many retailers now a day – vs only at the Salon which makes it such a convenience. Some of my favorite hair products come from the Nourishing Moisture and Natural Oil lines. If you are looking for a great masque, I highly suggest checking out one from either of those selections.

Hair Treatment For Daily Use – Marula Light Hair Treatment & Styling Oil is one of my favorite hair care products and brands. It’s no secret that I’m a lover of oil for everything – face, skin and nails and body. But, since my hair can drink up moisture consistently, I’m always looking for a product that I can use daily without worrying that it will cause my hair to be greasy. Marula’s hair products are favorites of mine and while they cost a pretty penny – they are luxe treatment for my long locks. The Light Hair Treatment and Styling Oil is a favorite because it offers my hair gorgeous shine, helps fight frizz and leaves my hair feeling soft and looking great.

Repair and Moisture for Dry Hair – Arvazallia Hydrating Argan Oil Mask and Arvazallia Premium Argan Oil Hair Treatment: When my hair needs love, especially during the colder and winter months, Arvazallia is the brand I turn to. I have been using Arvazallia products now for over 3 years and have raved about it here on Honeygirlsworld.com on more than one occasion. The Hydrating Argan Oil Mask is by far one of my favorites to help restore my hair, adding shine and hydrating my hair after the summer months. These products literally help repair and strengthen my hair and they smell great. The mask is especially perfect for anyone with thin hair like I have, it doesn’t weigh your hair down.

Nourishing Hair Care – HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Oil and Mask. It’s no secret that HASK is one of my favorite hair care lines found at the drugstore. The line is affordable and I have tried almost all of the products they have for sale, but the Monoi Coconut Oil line is quite possibly my favorite. The Nourishing Conditioner works wonders for me with co-washing my locks and when I need a good clean, the shampoo is definitely the one I enjoy because it cleans my hair well without stripping all of its natural moisture.
Price: $4.00 – $8.00 (depending on the location) for Shampoo & Conditioner, $2.00 – $4.00 (depending on location) for the Hair Oil and Mask
Available at: http://haskbeauty.com/ or select retailers like: Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS.
Affordable Hair Care for All Budgets – OGX Hair Care Lines: Oh, I’m a huge fan of OGX and consider them a brand worth checking out at the Drugstore. With product lines to suit every single hair concern, you can easily find something you’ll enjoy. My favorite line from OGX is the Quenching Coconut Curls line because it truly helps to quench my hair, leaving it soft and hydrated, while enhancing my natural curls. But, I have tried over 15 products from OGX, many of them of which are favorites. OGX is a line that offers a variety to choose from: Bamboo Fiber for Full Hair, O2 to boost your hairs vitamins and minerals, Niacin & Caffeine, Argan Oil, Vitamin E, B5, Coconut Curls, Tsubaki Blossom, Cherry Blossom, Eucalyptus Mint, Brazilian Keratin, Coconut Milk, Coconut Water, Sea Mineral Moisture, Kukui Oil, Lemon Highlights, Biotin & Collagen, Keratin Oil, Macadamia Oil, Awapuhi Ginger and Teatree Mint. Easy Hair Styling – Charlie Curls: I’m all about simplicity when it comes to hair, especially since my natural hair is curly. Recently I came across a cool product that I thought anyone could enjoy – long hair, medium length hair, you name it. Developed by Kris and her daughter Ciera – CharlieCurls is a one-piece hair curler that takes 30 seconds to put in. Simply bend over, roll it up and forget it. Leave it in for a few hours to see beautiful waves or all night for impressive curls. There is no heat or tedious hair rollers required that take forever and these are so easy to sleep on too.

Hair Care for your Fur Baby – Isle of the Dogs CocoClean Natural Xtra Clean Shampoo and Detangling Conditioner: I know this may not be a traditional product to list in a gift guide. But, I didn’t say this guide was specifically just for humans. If you put presents under the tree for your fur baby like we do, I think these products would be a great hit. Ikaika is our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and he is part of our family. He is not a fan of taking a bath, but absolutely loves CocoClean products. First of all – these products smell great so we as a family enjoy them and second, these products leave Ikaika’s coat feeling so soft and manageable. Since Ikaika has long hair, it’s important that we keep his tangles at bay and these products not only keep him smelling great, but leave his hair so soft which makes brushing a breeze. If you are looking for something new to gift your furry friend this holiday – I definitely suggest checking out this line, it’s awesome.
Price: $8.99 – $10.99
