Have you ever tried a Peel Off Mask before? I remember as a kid, my mom and dad used to use these masks for their weekly facials and both parents used to enjoy them. Now a days, you can find a plethora of masks for all kinds of treatment, and I was ecstatic to try this one from 7th Heaven because it reminded me so much of my childhood. Summer can do a double take on my skin sometimes, leaving my face especially dull and lack luster. Because of this, I tend to use masks a lot in the summer to help hydrate, soothe and brighten my skin. Recently I was given the opportunity to try the 7th Heaven Cucumber Peel Off Mask and today I’m sharing my thoughts with you. This is an affordable way to treat your skin this summer so I highly suggest checking it out.
Now, I know what you’re saying… with so many masks on the market, how can you tell if one is really worth the try? Well, I whole-heartily think that trying a fun mask packet that you can find at your local store for just about two bucks is a steal. I love passing the end caps of my local stores like Walmart and Target to find these little packet of treasures. I haven’t tried anything from 7th Heaven, so something that is affordable and that you can use one or two times (depending on how much you use) is a steal for me. All 7th Heaven products are all-natural and the company is a member of BUAV/Leaping Bunny and PETA which make it ideal for anyone to use.
The Cucumber Peel Off Masks are fun, even if it was a little messy to use. The mask is available in different types, but I tried the Cucumber one. Application is as easy… simply take the gel like product that is in the packet and apply to your face evenly. You want to make sure you get an even coat and layer so that it is easy to peel off once it dries.
A little note – stay away from applying it to your hair. A few times using the mask, I had placed it over my baby hairs while in a rush and… let’s just say, OUCH! It does pull, so I learned to take a little cool water and use that to remove the residue from my hair instead of continuing to pull it off.
Immediately after applying the mask – you will feel a bright cooling sensation. If you have ever had a sunburn and applied fresh aloe vera to your skin – it will have a cooling feel… this is what this mask reminded me of once it was applied. Since it has been so warm and hot this summer in Hawaii, these masks feel really good on the skin and offer a great treatment for those warm summer nights. My skin immediately felt refreshed as the mask started to do its work. While having the mask on, if I do talk or move my facial muscles a lot, I do notice that some parts of the mask may begin to peel, but it didn’t affect me at all.
As the mask starts to dry, you can feel a tightening of the face. It is not an uncomfortable feeling, but you can definitely notice it. The mask will sit on your face for 15-25 minutes and what I love the most is while it’s drying and tightening and doing its magic, I can still walk around and carry on with my business without worrying about the mask dripping or falling on me. Since I put this on prior to bed, it allows me to clean up around the house and tidy up before hitting the sheets and I love that.
Key Ingredients Include: Cucumber, Lime Oil and Pressed Flowers
Removing the mask is super easy and quick. It’s also painless if you do not get it near your hair – see my warning above! But I simply started by grabbing a corner or edge of the mask and lightly pulled to lift from my face. Since I apply it evenly coated, it was easy to remove and there were no parts left on my skin. Immediately after the mask is removed, I’m left with what looks like a snake skin shed from my face, it’s fun – the boys found it hilarious as I pulled it off my face and after and my skin felt great. After removing the mask, my skin felt so fresh and clean like it was literally cleansed of all dirt and debris. But, what I love the most is that my skin did not feel dry and stripped of it’s natural oils. My face felt so soft and looked so much brighter than before. Not to mention, it felt rejuvenated and fresh like I had just had a facial but without the harshness that facials can sometimes give me.
With sensitive skin, I’m always worried that certain masks will dry out my skin so much that it will cause my Eczema to flare up… or cause me to break out in some form or another. But, this mask, while effective, really did a great job of cleansing my skin without any issues. I’ve been able to use it once a week – once a week! I normally can only use a mask once every two weeks before it starts to cause me any irritations so I noticed immediately how much this mask was a joy to use.

I absolutely love how my face feels after using this mask. Clean – refreshed! It’s fun to use (fun to freak out the boys with… lol) and I love that it is so affordable. The fact that they come in the little packets make it easy to take when traveling and I love that it is easy to use each time. It’s a tad bit messy when applying, so I need to find a way that I can work around that. Maybe, if I stick one of my mask brushes inside, that will help some. But, it dries quickly – so I need to move fast. I have my eyes on the Manuka Honey Peel Off Mask next and a few others I want to buy. Ranging from $2.99 – $6.00 for each mask – it’s an absolute steal.

Oh wow! I remember that type of mask from way back in the day. Your skin looks so nice after using this one!
I LOVE peel off masks! They are so much fun to use! I love that clean and refreshed feeling afterward!
I have been gardening/doing heavy duty yard work for 6 hours straight and I’m covered with dirt. I wish I had this cucumber peel off mask right this minute. I need to be revived, and cucumber is so cooling and refreshing. Plus peel off is fun
I’ve tried a lot of their masks and have almost always enjoyed them. I have some Dead Sea Mud masks next on my list to try from 7th Heaven.
I LOVE peel off masks! Must be the kid in me but I’m gonna go find this one!
Love anything mask related and peel off is no exception! Will have to look out for this particular one 🙂
I love Seventh Heaven masks! They are so pampering and insanely affordable. I stock up on my favorites whenever Ulta has them on sale. Have you tried the coconut hydrating one? They used to do an absolutely yummy chocolate one, it smelled just like frosting in a tub but I can’t find it, any longer. Their sheet and peel masks are great, too.
I love these masks and always have a few in my bathroom drawer.
Wow, it peeled off beautifully, like cling-film! The peel-off masks I’ve tried so far tend to peel off in little grey wormy bits lol. And anything cucumber is a win in my book.
It sounds wonderful! With these types of masks I’m always scared I won’t be able to get it all off. A LONG time ago I bought a cheaper one at the drugstore and had a heck of a time with it and ever since I haven’t purchased any peel offs.
