I am beyond late with this post. The truth is I actually had it uploaded weeks ago but it got lost in my uploads on YouTube and I completely forgot about it. This past year (2013) I think I tried my fair share of products and I am amazed at some of the new things that came out. While there were many good products, there were not so good ones too. Regardless, I made it through the year with a bunch of new loves – many of which I am proud to say are drugstore products too. Woohoo for my pocket book! lol So you want to see what made the cut?
Here is the round up:

That’s a great list of stuff you have, there.
thank you 🙂
I love Best of Beauty posts. Great list! I love all the palettes you chose!
I do too… it gives me an idea as to what I can choose. Thanks so much 🙂
I’ve got my eye on the Lorac pro palette!
omigosh – yes, get it! I know sometimes Ulta offers extras with it – not like when I bought mine from Sephora. 🙂
Love your picks!
thank you 🙂
lol – I know, I just couldn’t possibly narrow it down. lol I have had my original MAC 217/239 brushes since 2002 – they last so long if you take care of them. I have had to buy more… but they are still staples ;D
thank you! Omigosh – aren’t the MIlani lipsticks phenomenal. I am so in love with them.
me too 😀
thank you! Aren’t they all awesome. I have really taken a liking to drug store this past year. 🙂
thank you! That’s awesome! 😀
So much pretty in one place! Wish I had picked up that Kat Von D Spellbinding palette now!
Thank you 🙂 Aww… check your local Sephora, one of my friends just picked hers up a week ago because her sephora still had it.
This is such a great list for 2013!
thank you Farryn 🙂
Great summary Honey! Wait, you got your perfume from Hautelook? How come w/ mine, they can’t ship it. Now I’m officially sad 🙁
girl… they don’t ship to me. I had to go the long way and ship to my friend in the states and then she shipped to me. I was so bummed that they didn’t ship here because I had to pay 2x the shipping… but I guess it was worth it. It still winded up being cheaper than full price at Sephora. 😉
i must admit, i don’t have any of these products! I should try a few
if you do – I’m excited to hear your thoughts 🙂
I love reading these types of posts. Thanks for sharing!!
thank you – I also enjoy these too 🙂
I commend you for doing a video like this. Mine would be an hour long 😀
Girl… don’t you know I swear that video was about that long and I edited it out. lol With the kids fighting in the background… the dark barking and then with just my huge list of products… I don’t know how I did it. lmao
I just stared using the elf primer and found it holds up really well compared to much more expensive ones. I also love my LORAC Pro palette. Great picks!
I was pretty amazed too. My friend Krystal turned me onto elf. They didn’t sell it anywhere here before and I had to order online. I’m glad I did. 🙂
I am a big Too Faced eyeshadow primer my self too. love it. Good picks!!
thank you 🙂 Yes, Too Faced eyeshadow primer, love it. 🙂
I hear so much about the LORAC Pro Palette! I feel like I definitely needs this.
omigosh -it’s still one of my absolute favs. I’m glad I decided to get it. 🙂
I love your list. Pink Sugar was my MUST HAVE for years and I totally want to try some Sedona Lace brushes.
thank you 🙂 I just discovered it this year and I love it. 🙂 I am loving the Sedona lace brushes, but they do start to break down after a bunch of use, so I’m glad they are affordable. 🙂
