Best of Beauty 2013

I am beyond late with this post.  The truth is I actually had it uploaded weeks ago but it got lost in my uploads on YouTube and I completely forgot about it.  This past year (2013) I think I tried my fair share of products and I am amazed at some of the new things that came out.  While there were many good products, there were not so good ones too.  Regardless, I made it through the year with a bunch of new loves – many of which I am proud to say are drugstore products too.  Woohoo for my pocket book! lol  So you want to see what made the cut?

Here is the round up:

You can watch the video embedded above directly on YouTube here.  Please subscribe if you enjoyed it! 😉

Did you miss the list of products?  Don’t worry – I listed them all below for your reference.  I know it’s a long list – but as I stated above, I had the opportunity to try out a lot of new things this past year.  If I have done reviews on any of the products I listed, there will be a link to view that review next to the name of the product.

  1. I love Best of Beauty posts. Great list! I love all the palettes you chose!

    • omigosh – yes, get it! I know sometimes Ulta offers extras with it – not like when I bought mine from Sephora. 🙂

  2. lol – I know, I just couldn’t possibly narrow it down. lol I have had my original MAC 217/239 brushes since 2002 – they last so long if you take care of them. I have had to buy more… but they are still staples ;D

So much pretty in one place! Wish I had picked up that Kat Von D Spellbinding palette now!

    • Thank you 🙂 Aww… check your local Sephora, one of my friends just picked hers up a week ago because her sephora still had it.

Great summary Honey! Wait, you got your perfume from Hautelook? How come w/ mine, they can’t ship it. Now I’m officially sad 🙁

    • girl… they don’t ship to me. I had to go the long way and ship to my friend in the states and then she shipped to me. I was so bummed that they didn’t ship here because I had to pay 2x the shipping… but I guess it was worth it. It still winded up being cheaper than full price at Sephora. 😉

I commend you for doing a video like this. Mine would be an hour long 😀

    • Girl… don’t you know I swear that video was about that long and I edited it out. lol With the kids fighting in the background… the dark barking and then with just my huge list of products… I don’t know how I did it. lmao

I just stared using the elf primer and found it holds up really well compared to much more expensive ones. I also love my LORAC Pro palette. Great picks!

    • I was pretty amazed too. My friend Krystal turned me onto elf. They didn’t sell it anywhere here before and I had to order online. I’m glad I did. 🙂

    • thank you 🙂 I just discovered it this year and I love it. 🙂 I am loving the Sedona lace brushes, but they do start to break down after a bunch of use, so I’m glad they are affordable. 🙂
