I’m super excited to share with you a few products from a company that I’ve been loving lately.  Have you ever heard of Grace Eleyae?  If you’re a curly haired gal and you haven’t heard of this brand before, I definitely suggest checking it out.  I’ve used various hair bonnets and satin products over the years, but the ones I have tried from Grace Eleyae are now my favorites to protect my curly hair with.

As I mentioned previously, I have used various satin lined or satin caps and other products to help protect my curly hair, but recently was introduced to Grace Eleyae.  Said to be the “Home of the original satin lined cap”, the Slap (Satin-Lined Cap) was created to help fight dry hair, bedhead and time-sucking/inefficient hair processes.

Grace’s goal is to provide women with confidence by offering these solutions for the busy multi-taskers who want to look and feel confident while investing in being their best, most beautiful selves.

Why satin?

Whether you have curly hair or straight hair, long or short, healthy hair needs adequate moisture.  Satin is a material that does not absorb moisture like cotton or other types of fabrics.  Satin allows your hair and skin do basically do what it was created to do – produce it’s own protective moisture to keep itself healthy and strong.

Using satin protects your hair from the moisture absorbing materials and also helps to protect against harsh weather and conditions – sunlight, snow, dry heat, freezing winds, hair dye, heat from straighteners and blow driers.  Basically, anything and everything that can dry your hair out.

Using satin can help to keep your hair moisturized (skin too) while limiting breakage and combating frizz.  I especially love that it helps to prolong my hair style (more time in between washes) and it preserves my curls so that my hair looks shinier, healthier and I have a lot less tangles.  Satin allows your hair to repair itself, so whatever oils or deep conditioning you use, your hair can truly fully absorb the healing properties to it’s fullest ability.

I’ve been using the Grace Eleyae Satin-Lined cap, satin pillowcase and satin scrunchies for the last few months now.  Each of these products have been essential in keeping my hair looking fresh while also preserving all of my curls and eliminating frizz.  They are essential in my nightly sleep routine and I wouldn’t have it any other way.  Because of Grace Eleyae products, my hair feels softer and I love that I have less tangles.  Since my hair is so long (passed my buttocks), I use the scrunchie to pull my hair up in a pineapple. Then I use the Slap to protect it.  Since I move around a lot in bed, I sleep on the satin pillowcase to help eliminate frizz.  My skin also loves the satin pillow and I love that it’s cool and comfy to sleep on as well.

“My hair feels and looks so healthy now that I’ve been using Grace Eleyae Satin products.  It’s definitely a game changer.”
