There are so many products on the market today that offer a variety of benefits for our skin – including Organic ingredients and skin loving goodness. I have tried so many over the years and while I have my favorites, I’m always looking forward to trying products that are new and good for my sensitive skin. Recently I had the opportunity to try some products from Made From The Earth, a USDA Certified Organic Company that is 100% Farmed and Made in the USA and I want to share a few of the goodies I was able to try with you.
Made from the Earth is a Cruelty-Free and Organic Company that specializes in skin care. The organic skin care line includes a variety of skin essentials that contain the highest possible levels of organic ingredients and fruits. The ingredients used in their products are hand-selected to provide you with exceptional skin care and a complete list of ingredients make it easy to find on their site and product page so you know exactly what you are using on your body. The ingredients are also from plants grown on organic farms so that there are no toxic ingredients in the products, no diluting or watering down the potent organic plant ingredients and no synthetic coloring agents, fragrances, paraffin or petroleum products. Just a whole bunch of goodness is in each product made.
I had the opportunity to test out a handful of products and I’m going to share my thoughts on each with you. I have very sensitive skin so what may work for some, may not work for me, but ultimately – I will be honest and let you know the scoops so you are armed with information. I have been testing these products for a few months now and finally feel like I’m comfortable enough to share my thoughts on each with you.
Lavender Calm Body Lotion (8oz / 235 mL – $18.99) I was a bit hesitant to use this lotion because while I enjoy lavender scents, sometimes it can be so overpowering that my allergies go crazy. I was very impressed with how light the fragrance of lavender was in this lotion and how smooth this lotion feels on the body. While you can smell the lavender scent, it isn’t so heavy that it made me sneeze like crazy – as other products with lavender have done to me in the past. I especially love using this lotion at night (as it suggests as well) because it helps to calm and relax for me for a good night’s rest. This lotion is moisturizing and feels great on the skin but doesn’t leave a sticky or heavy feel and my skin is soft.
Vitamin E + Citrus Body Gel – body wash (8oz / 236 mL – $12.99) This body gel is filled with Vitamin E goodness which I love. The gel is a translucent clear gel that has a nice citrus / orange scent. I love to use this body wash in the morning or after a work out to help revive my senses, waking me up and helping me to feel refreshed. The body wash does lather a bit and left my skin and body feeling very clean, which I loved. I also enjoyed the fact that my skin still felt soft and moisturized after.
Vitamin C Moisturizer (2 oz. / 59 g – $39.00) is a creamy moisturizing lotion in a jar. It contains the highest possible concentration of Vitamin C, which helps to maintain smoothness and elasticity. Vitamin C encourages collagen products, which brightens and softens the skin. This Vitamin C Moisturizer has a creamy smooth texture and applies to the skin evenly like lotion. It can be worn under sunscreen since the Vitamin C boosts the effectiveness of sunscreen and helps to aid with hyperpigmentation. This product feels nice on the skin and soaks into my face nicely. I didn’t get a funky sticky feeling like you can get with Vitamin C products. It has a light fragrance with a hint of citrus but is not over powering at all which I do love.
Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer (2 oz / 59 g – $74.99) is one of my favorites from the products I have tried. It includes antioxidants and bioflavanoids that help add healthy ingredients into your skin – leaving your skin fresh and moisturized. These antioxidants help combat and neutralize harmful free-radicals which affect the face and help protect against aging. The Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer has rooibos tea which contains concentrated amounts of alpha hydroxy acid, vitamins and minerals. I love the feeling of this moisturizer against my skin. It smooths on easily like a lotion and leaves my skin feeling so soft and silky. Since my skin is sensitive, I don’t use it as often on my face – not because of any reactions, but because it is a little thicker for my face than what I’m used to. I love using it however and apply this moisturizer to key places on my body like my fingers and hands as well as on my elbows. I especially love this now that it is Fall and winter and my skin is drier… I’ll be using this on my face much more now that my skin needs the moisture more.
Olive Night Creme (2 oz. / $42.99) is an under eye and treatment cream that is filled with moisturizing organic olives. With organic olive oil and organic olive butter, your skin’s elasticity will improve while moisturizing your skin and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. The beauty benefit of oilive oil is it allows for easy absorption to combat dryness. Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and has been scientifically proven to protect against skin aging. This feels great on the skin and I love applying it just below my eyes and near my crow’s feet. It’s pretty thick compared to the other creams, but smooths on nicely. Because of the olive oil and olive butter in this product, there can be some separation, but I find that a little mixing and it is back to new and perfect.
Vanilla Organic Lip Balm with Vitamin E (0.15 oz/4.25g – $4.99) is a warm, calming and relaxing lip balm. This balm includes organic ingredients with vanilla that is designed to sooth and calm your lips. I haven’t been able to smell a fragrance from this lip balm and there is little to no flavor – which is a bummer for me, because I love me some vanilla flavored goodness. But, with ingredients like coconut oil and sunflower oil – this product feels really nice on the lips and leaves my lips soft, chapped free and perfect for those lipsticks I love so much.
Citrus Fresh Organic Lip Balm (0.15oz / 4.25g – $4.99) this lip balm has a light citrus flavor – reminding me of orange or lemons. It is organic and chemical free and helps to protect the lips, aiding in production of collagen in the lips. I like this particular lip balm – especially in the morning for that little fresh citrus scent and flavor.
Overall, I’m quite impressed with this skin care line. After looking at their website, I see all kinds of goodies I’ve been adding to my shopping cart as so many sound like my skin will love them. This line is pretty costly – I’m not gonna lie there, I thought some of the creams were quite expensive. After using each product now for a few months, I’m beyond impressed with what I was able to use and love the lux feeling I get from the creams. My skin feels great and so smooth after just a little of the product and since they are so moisturizing, a little goes a long way. I know that my favorites are the moisturizers in the jar – while I’m not a fan of jar products due to contamination, I really enjoyed how wonderful these felt on my skin. The lip balms are nice and definitely kept my pout smooth and soft, but I would love to see more flavor in the – granted, that is just my personal preference and while I did like the body lotion and body gel, I think the lotion is my fave out of the two and I know I’ll continue to purchase it when I run out.
You can purchase these products and so much more at: http://www.madefromearth.com/. As stated earlier, Made from the Earth products are Certified Organic, Made in the USA and contains no harmful ingredients. I have a long list of products I want to try from them like their Organic Beeswax Multi-use balm, Holistic Honey Body Lotion, Skin Correcting Facial Mist… and so so much more. I definitely think you should stop by the site and see if anything sounds like it would work for you.

I found myself hanging on your every word while reading this wonderful review, Honey! You know how much I love skincare and body care products, and these sound fantastic.
I’ve been looking for more organic/natural skincare brands to try, so I’ll keep this brand in mind for sure!! Thanks 🙂
Wow, this entire product line sounds perfect for me! I wish that Whole Foods would begin to sell it. All the lavender and citrus natural/organic products sound so appealing and so does the olive night cream.
Oh – I wish Whole Foods would sell it. I will be sure to relay that over the brand 🙂
This line sounds wonderful. I know what you mean about lavender sending your allergies into overdrive, Marigold does that to me. I used to use a hairspray that had natural marigold in it and every time I’d do my hair, my allergies would go ballistic. It took me a while to make the connection. Now, I avoid it like the plague! lol
This would be perfect for some people on my gift list this Christmas!
Thanks for such a great review, they sound amazing!
I love a light lavender scent. I’m glad this one is easy on the sniffer!
When a product is pricey, it’s nice to read a review like yours to know that it is, indeed, worth it. I can imagine how heavenly they must smell!
This looks like a great line of products! That Vanilla Lip Balm looks divine 🙂
These look really great! I love anything with lavender in it.
That’s so awesome that they are organic! This sounds like a great line. I’ll have to look into them more! 🙂
I think a lot of organic lines can be more expensive because of their ingredients. I love citrus scents so a lot of these products would fit in well with my life.
I tried this brand a long time ago and like it.
I’m trying to pick natural skincare whenever poss, and this entire range is so wholesome and sounds pampering to the skin.
This sounds like a great brand.
These look promising! I love the brand name
Love the packaging here! & I 2nd Whole Foods!
This sounds like such a great brand. I love the sound of the Olive Night Cream.
I love their citrus lipbalm, I used it to the very last bit!
I’ve never heard of this brand, but it sounds really nice!
All of the citrusy ones are so my jam. I know that if it works with your sensitive skin, I won’t have any problem with it. Great review!
These all sound lovely – especially the lavender lotion. I could so use that now as I prep for bed time 🙂
