Let’s face it… as a mom I’m constantly on the go and have such a busy schedule that some of my favorite beauty routines are always put on hold.  While I love to paint my nails or get pretty manicures, sometimes I find I just don’t have the time.  For a few years now, I have found some products that I enjoy using on those days I want pretty nails but just don’t have the time.   A fast and easy manicure is just minutes away with imPRESS Press-On Manicure.  They include everything from soft hues to bold glitter tips and on-trend accent nails that have an ultra-gel shine that doesn’t fade and offering you a manicure for any occasion, moment or mood.  Who has time for a salon anyway?  I haven’t stepped foot in one in years and find that I can always get a great nail design easily and in minutes.

Now – my natural nails are quite long and for the most part, they are kept that way, so I found that the two sets that I was sent from imPRESS for a bit too small for me.  But, that doesn’t mean they don’t work.  These press ons require no dry time and have an UltraHold technology that helps to keep the nails on until you are ready to remove.  “That’s the claim from imPRESS.”  I find that after using this brand for a few years that they can definitely last a few days with washing dishes if you lightly buff your nail bed or wipe your nails down with alcohol so that the adhesive sticks for a longer period than by applying it straight to your nail without prepping.

The nails are easy – they simply peel off with no damage to your natural nails, which is a huge plus for me.  Each nail has a backing that you simply remove and then press the nail directly onto your real nails.  Each set retails for about $7.99 and you can find them at your local Walgreens or imPRESSmanicure.com.

Application:  After selecting the correct size for your nail/finger, you will remove the backing of each nail and press firmly onto your nail bed.  Remember to cleanse your nail well prior to applying.  For the first 1/2 an hour you want to repeat pressing on your nails.  This is key because I have found that if you don’t do this – the nails can start to lift within the first day and by pressing down on the nail for the first 1/2 hour you get a longer wear time.  Wait at least one hour before cutting or filing your nails as well as exposing your nails to water.

Removal:  Removing is easy – simply peel off the sides or apply polish remover around the edges.  If you decide to apply polish remover, wait a minute and then peel off.

Above is a photo of a different imPRESS manicure design I had that fits me perfectly.  Each design or set of nails you get comes with 24-30 nails in different sizes so you can fit them to your natural nails.  There are a plethora of designs and shapes so you will have a nail design for any need.
Like I mentioned previously, I have used these for a couple of years now and I love that they come in so many different options for you to use.  They are super easy to apply and while they may not last a long time, they surely are great solutions for a last minute manicure or something fast for that night out on the town.  They are affordable and easy to use and I love that there are so many fun designs.  These are not only perfect for busy moms, but great for weddings, prom or that special occasion where a gorgeous mani is needed.

Have you tried any of these before?   What are your thoughts if you have?
