I know you hear it time and time again, but when it comes to skin care, I truly enjoy trying out new products and giving them a test. I tend to however, have so many skin care on hand at any given moment, that testing them out and ensuring they work with the current skin care products I use can be a lengthy process. Sometimes I’ll go months trying out a product before it actually gets mentioned here for a full review. This is the case with TriDerma and the products I have tried from this line. I have had these babies in my possession now for months and I’m finally getting around to talking about them. It’s a skin care brand I thought would be worth mentioning and one I’m really enjoying… furthermore, it’s affordable. Let’s get chatting about it, shall we?
Prior to getting TriDerma to try, I had not heard of the brand before so I was excited to give it a try. I received three products from TriDerma to test out – Pore Reducing Anti-Aging Serum, Spot & Wrinkle Erasing Cream and the Light and Delicate Sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF. Let’s chit chat about each one and what they offer and then I’ll share with you my thoughts on each product.
TriDerma Pore Reducing Anti-Age Serum ($24.99 – 1 oz.) is not only an affordable skin care product, it’s medical strength. This creamy serum is unique and also works as a skin primer, but it does more than just “fill in” pores – it helps reduce the appearance of pores to give you a more confident complexion. If you are someone with oily skin, you may really enjoy this because it helps to control excess oil throughout the day to leave your skin looking and feeling silky soft.
There are no harsh chemicals, peels or procedures required to get results from this product. The TriDerma exclusive RefinaPore helps to change the look of pores and offers a dual action formula to help hide imperfections and continues to improve the appearance of large pores. Better yet, it provides the results I was looking for without causing my skin to be irritated, my Eczema to flare up and I enjoyed this product a lot.
This product features AP4 (Aloe Vera Complex) which is a proprietary botanical complex that naturally contains more than 200 healing properties to help reduce swelling, fight bacteria and soothe pain. RefinaPore helps to smooth and reduce the appearance of pores. It’s non-greasy, fragrance free, cortisone free and paraben free. It helps to soften and refine the texture of skin while visibly reducing the appearance of pores and helping to absorb and control oil without drying out my already sensitive and dry skin.
INGREDIENTS: aloe barbadensis (AP4® genuine virgin organic aloe vera) leaf extract, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone crosspolymer, botansil, silica, ejitsu rose (rosa multiflora fruit extract), refinapore™, lysophosphatidic acid, lecithin, lysolecithin, dimethicone, isoprene glycol, phenoxyethanol
TriDerma Spot & Wrinkle Erasing Cream ($24.99 – 1 oz.) is a medical strength anti-aging complex that provides results like those from a dermatologist without the cost. Unlike Hydroquinone, Retin A or Alpha Hydroxy Acid, this fast-acting formula helps to erase the look of brown posts, age spots, and acne scars while diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It offers more lightening power. No Hydroquinone makes this safe to use morning and night and is ideal for the face, neck, hands and decollete.
This product has a light weight, non-greasy formula and applies easily. I love that it contains the AP4 Aloe Vera Complex as well and is rich in anti-oxidants, anti-irritants and five specialized brightening ingredients to help work to resurface skin naturally. Cell turnover is encouraged without harsh chemicals, peels or procedures, leaving my skin feeling smoother and brighter as well as more refined. This product seems to work after using it as long as I have and while it doesn’t have irritants in the formulation, I still have to be careful with how much I use it, since my sensitive skin hates me. Regardless though, I’ve been able to include it consistently in my skin care routine and taper as I see fit to make it work. If you are looking for a non-sticky formula that soaks into the skin quickly, I think you’ll enjoy this one.
INGREDIENTS: aloe barbadensis (AP4® genuine virgin organic aloe vera) leaf extract, aleurites moluccana seed oil, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, tocopheryl acetate, dimethicone, linoleic acid, glycine soja (soybean), phospholipids, cetearyl methicone, glycereth-26, isopentyidiol, algae extract, mugwort (artemisia vulgaris) extract, urea, glucosamine hcl, saccharomyces cerevisiae extract, bv-osc (ascorbate), behenyl alcohol, pelvetia canaliculata extract, albatin, ergothioneine, ascophyllum nodosum extract, ethylhexyl palmitate, lecithin, netwax age/bca, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, xanthan gum, fragrance
TriDerma Light & Delicate Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 PA +++ ($19.00 – 1.7 oz) is a maximum protection sunscreen with a wonderful light weight formula. This Sunscreen has a Broad Spectrum SPF 15 PA +++ that offers maximum UVA/UVB protection with essential antioxidants. It helps to protect against unwanted signs of aging due to harmful sun exposure and can be used daily as a moisturizer for face and body to keep skin looking healthy.
This product also features the AP4 Aloe Vera Complex of proprietary botanical complex that naturally contains more than 200 healing properties to help reduce swelling, fight bacteria and soothe pain. It also includes Vitamins B & E to help sooth and heal irritated skin. It’s a non-greasy formula that is fragrance free and it literally is becoming one of my favorites.
I love Tatcha Pore Perfecting Sunscreen, it’s one of my favorites and holy grail products, but after a while, I can only afford it when I save my pennies. This sunscreen from TriDerma has become my dupe and replacement for the one from Tatcha. It feels wonderful on the skin, unlike most facial sunscreens and blends into my skin easily and quickly. I love that I can enjoy some extra moisture while still protecting my skin from the harmful sun rays. At the price point, this product is reasonable and I love that I can use it daily without any worry of flash back or funky white cast in my photos (I haven’t seen any yet).

TriDerma products are Cruelty Free and made with Certified Organic Aloe. Since I suffer from various skin irritations, including sensitive skin, Eczema and Atopic Dermatitis, I’m always leery and worried about different skin care products. Many of TriDerma skin care products are specifically formulated for sensitive skin making it an ideal brand for me to use. TriDerma products do not contain damaging chemicals like Parabens, cortisones, steroids, fragrances and dyes. I love that TriDerma has been in business for more than 24 years and founded and owned by a woman. I’m loving the skin care line or shall I say the products I’ve been using and I look forward to trying more. I especially enjoy the fact that they are available at a variety of stores including KMart, Walmart, Target and select CVS stores. You can also purchase online at: http://www.triderma.com
I’m impressed with each product I have tried and I especially love the sunscreen. I think it’s worth checking out for sure. This is a line I’m looking forward to checking out more of and I’m looking forward to trying more products from the line to share with all of you. When you have sensitive skin, it’s hard to find anything that not only works, but offers quality for a great price. Have you heard about TriDerma before and if so, have you tried any of the products or have any on your sites that you want to check out?
