This week I wanted to create a look using products from my May Ipsy Glam Bag – Fresh Picks.  Since the theme is super cute, I thought this would be a great way to show a flirty side of me.  I chose to name my look “My Secret Garden” because I used inspiration from one of my favorite Books and Movies – The Secret Garden.  Spring and Summer remind me of floral scents and flowers in an array of colors.  Purple being my favorite color, I decided a purple and white-gold look would be fitting for a soft and wearable creation.  It kind of reminds me of the Jacaranda that grow so heavily here in the Spring time and grace our roads and lawns with beautiful lavender flowers.

The Secret Garden inspired Makeup using Ipsy Glam bag

I have a really hard time making up my mind – so I thought I would use a few different florals to style my  pictures.  Utilizing the goodies I received in my May Ipsy Glam Bag, I created a look that I thought would incorporate the items perfectly.

Many say that my makeup looks all seem to mesh together and look the same, but I like it – because makeup is about style and creativity… and most importantly – it’s about beauty.  Check out my makeup tutorial for this look embedded below or click here to watch it directly on YouTube.  A list of products used can be found in this post.  I hope you enjoy!

Lovely spring look. The Pacifica shadows in combination with the others you used sure look better on you than on me! i think using it over the City Color Base and with the Coastal Scents brown helped too. Nice video

Beautiful hot mama! I like all the colors you used for your makeup.

  4. I don’t think your makeup all looks the same! I think we all mostly gravitate towards a particular style, though, and when we find something we like, we find different ways to do it. Beautiful look!
