The last few weeks have had me talking about relationship advice on my Thirsty Thursday episode I do each week but I have been saving some motherhood topics for today. As many know who follow my blog or YouTube channel, I am a Stay at Home / Work from Home mom and honestly, I’m proud of it. I wish each mother could experience staying at home with their children and spending the time with them watching their child or children grow. But, being a stay at home mom comes with a certain personna, or stigma I shall say, that can sometimes hit a few nerves. Today we are going to do a “Confessions of a Stay at Home Mom” segment – something I used to do a lot on my channel and blog in the past and we are going to touch base on the following subjects. These questions were emailed to me for advice and topic consideration…
” Do you think Sta at Home Moms are lazy? What do you think about what is said about Stay at Home Moms, calling them lazy or that they have an easy life and don’t do anything.”
” Do you feel you push your kids too hard to be successful? Do you think some parents can push their kids too hard to be great?”
Be sure to watch the video embedded above or click here to watch the episode directly on YouTube. Remember that this is just a chill and relaxed conversation and I’m simply stating my opinion as a person and not bashing on anyone else’s opinion on the subject.
Thanks so much for joining me on this episode of Thirsty Thursday. Don’t forget – if you are interested in submitting questions or topics for future episodes, you can email them to email@example.com. As a reminder, I am not a professional at all and do not get paid for my advice. All opinions are my own – my honest thoughts on the subject and I am in no way judging anyone for the choices they make or their own opinions, these are just mine.
I have been getting a lot of questions lately regarding my take on Breastfeeding in public so I figured I would touch base on this subject in this weeks Thirsty Thursday episode. Also – a sweet friend of mine also asked about my cleaning and daily routine as a Stay at Home Mom or (SAHM) so I also share that with all of you and a little something about what I think a Woman’s Worth is.
Click on the video and watch all about it – this TT is a little long, but I think I have a lot to share. Hope you enjoy.
Happy Thirsty Thursday. Today’s episode in my TT Segment has a lot to do with abuse in a relationship. There are so many different types of abuse and often times, we as friends, outsiders or those looking from the outside in do not even realize what is happening. While this episode is basically my opinion on emotional, mental and physical abuse – I hope that if only one person watches this video and it helps them make a change for the better, that it will make a difference.
Have a great Thursday and remember… You are beautiful!
Today on this week’s episode we are going to chit chat about jealously. I mentioned in a previous video that I can be a really jealous person naturally and today I touch base a little more on the subject and give you a little talk about how to deal with it. Grab a drink and enjoy! Today – we are going to talk about how to deal with being a jealous person.
Happy Thirsty Thursday. I’m doing my best to keep up with my videos through YouTube so today I bring you another Thirsty Thursday episode. Today we are talking about relationships, love and communication. Is it difficult now a days to have a relationship that will last? I often get asked how to keep a relationship strong and how is it that my husband and I have been together for so long considering most couples don’t get past their 5 year wedding anniversary. Today I share with you my thoughts on the subject, my experiences and even some input from my husband. Watch the video embedded below or click here to watch directly on YouTube.
Want to ask me a question? Comment on the video or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll touch base on it in my next Chit Chat video.
Is it just me or is this week dragging on even with the Labor Day Holiday this past Monday? Honestly, I feel it is just taking forever but needless to say – I’m glad it is finally Thursday.
Today for this week’s segment of Thirsty Thursday we get on a personal level about some updates with my health. I also discuss a few things that have been on my mind lately like the negativity in society and press samples as well as so much more. Check out my video embedded below or click here to watch it directly on YouTube.
Thank you so much for joining me today. Remember – you are beautiful! And, if you are joining me this Thirsty Thursday – whatever your drink of choice, drink responsibly.

I can’t believe how fast this week went by and thankfully the boys are all off of school tomorrow due to a Statehood Day. Today I share with you my Thirsty Thursday episode and there is a lot to talk about. Lately I’ve been experiencing an increase in weight gain and I’m not sure what is going on. Considering that I have changed my diet and exercise – I’m hoping that everything is okay with my body and overall health. I’ve been in the reminiscing mood lately so I pulled up some old vlogs from the last few years and it just reminds me how important it is to document life. I can’t believe how fast the boys have grown and I’m thankful to have those memories to fall back on. Basically, it’s just me in my relaxed state hanging out and chit chatting so come say hi. Video below.
Whew… this week kind of flew by for me. It’s nice to get it out of the way because my whole family has been sick off and on the last 2 weeks… “Get out of my house sick!” Anywho… it’s Thirsty Thursday time and I had a lot to say this week. Check out my video and give me some feedback. What are your thoughts about makeup? Is too much, really too much? Are you going to be settling down on your makeup purchases this year (a resolution & goals for 2014 will be posted soon). What was your drink of choice today? (my Thirsty Thursday video is embedded below).
Also – I wanted to share a little Throwback with all of you.
The photo above was taken in 1997 or 1998 (I think in the early part of 1998, before I graduated from High School). My husband (then boyfriend) and I were at a party and someone took this photo of us. Contrary to my smile (or lack thereof), I was a pretty happy lady. Oi – look at those brows – lmao. I was always more of a natural brow type of person, even now… I mostly set it with a brow gel if I can get away with it. lol
5 Things you may not know about me or this photo…
I loved Aaliyah’s style – and had a thing for baggy pants and plaid/flannel. I still love her style and would rock out Timbalands and baggy overalls any day – lol. I wish that style came back… totally love the 90s.
I was rocking out side bangs in this photo. I flat ironed it so it would lay nicely and kind of sprayed it in place. Because of my naturally curly hair, if I didn’t do so – I would have looked like a poodle. It was not by choice that I had this hairstyle… someone just wanted to butcher my hair. lol
I married this very handsome, sexy man in this photo – we have 3 beautiful kids together and believe it or not… I chased after him for 4 years before we started dating… but that’s another story. lol
I am super tan in this photo because those were the days I surfed a lot and you could find me at the beach almost everyday. Now – I just don’t have the passion for it – so I have since lightened up quite a bit. lol
I have kept my brows this shape for years (the same as in the photo) and have not changed them up ever. I have been pretty lucky to have full and nice brows in my lifetime. 🙂
Hope you guys had an awesome Thursday – I’m hoping to get mine wrapped up and settled down! Have a wonderful rest of your week. Don’t forget to watch Thirsty Thursday’s video below.
