I absolutely love Fall… though you don’t really get the full experience here in Hawaii. This time of year you will notice that a lot of my eye makeup looks are similar… smoky eyes with a red or neutral lips or eye makeup that looks similar in shades to what I’m sporting in my look from today. To me, Fall reminds me of beautiful falling leaves of various rich and warm tones… purples, oranges, browns and golds. When I think about Fall, I always seem to remember the scene from American Beauty (hmm… some of you may not know of that movie. lol), where they are walking down the street lined with leaves and another scene where the plastic bag blows and swirls from the wind. I just love Fall. lol
I decided to create this makeup look, not only to show off my new flower crown I made, but because I was sitting at home, missing my husband. His schedule changed back to what it used to be and after two months of having him home to have dinner with us, he is back to working the 3pm – 11pm shift. I just missed him A LOT. So I decided since my heart felt a little empty – that I would create a look that was inspired by my love for my husband and my thoughts of Fall. I am really hoping that one day I can experience what falling leaves and the real fall season is really like.
