With a love for pixie dust and mystical creatures alike, Bella, a human girl wished she could become a faerie.  Without wings but a heart pure of love and beauty, the Faerie Queen welcomed Bella into their woods and asked her to be the Guardian of their Forest, protecting the winged creatures she loved so dearly.

Who says that a human creatures cannot be a part of a mystical world?  Join me in this easy Halloween makeup tutorial as I join my fellow friends from The Beauty Council for a Halloween Makeup extravaganza.  This makeup creation was one that I thought of last minute, knowing I wanted to create a look that was both simple and easy to do for those who needed a costume in a pinch of time.  Pair this with your favorite hooded cape or a gorgeous lace scarf and you are good to go.  This look is meant to be mysterious, sultry, smoky and just a tad bit dark.  Don’t forget to check out the other looks from the gals from The Beauty Council for inspiration too, links all posted below.
Bella Guardian of the Faeries
Meet Bella, Guardian of the Faeries and honorary faerie at heart.  Pull out your favorite purple shades and get ready to create an eye look that is easy but sultry.  Check out my video tutorial embedded below or watch directly on YouTube here.

To create this look, I added a dark but bright purple shade over my natural brows to create a whimsical look.  To create my eye look, I chose shades of brown and purple and blended them all over my eyes to give that sultry and smoky look I wanted to achieve.

Bella Guardian of the Faeries
I love Halloween and dressing up but I realized that it is a good thing to do a simple look for those that may be finished with work late or that don’t have much time to spend on creating their costume.  Head on over to your local costume store and pick up a cape in the color of your choosing and throw it on with a fierce smoky eye or glittery eye look and your costume is complete.
