I absolutely LOVE Tinsel… I don’t like to clean it up when it ends up on the floor – but I do love the way it looks and I especially love it on a Christmas tree. During this time of year I am always on the hunt for cute nail polish that looks like Tinsel and I totally hit the jackpot while in Walgreens last month and found Gold Tinsel & Tinsel and Shine by Sinful Colors. The price point of course was awesome and I fell in love with how the tinsel looked in the bottle. These polishes are fairly long lasting on the nails and reasonably easy to remove. I absolutely love that Gold Tinsel looks like a mixture of Gold & Rose Gold which are favorites of mine. I love gold/rose gold more than silver. I wanted this look to be wearable, sparkly and just easy to create. There is no difficulty in creating it. After laying down the base coat (Julep) I added the tinsel polishes and then my favorite topper from elf (fairy) to add just a little bit more sparkle and shine. Then topped it off with Sinful colors top coat. Easy – fast and I’m out the door and ready to go.
