Can you believe it’s already been a month since I’ve started using the PMD Personal Microderm Device again? I can’t believe how fast the time is flying by but I’m extremely excited to share my results with all of you. After using this device for a month (4 weeks), I am definitely looking forward to sharing with all of you how it’s worked for me.
Read all about my initial thoughts and first impressions of the PMD here.
The PMD Personal Microderm is an at-home device that allows you to bring the same type of results as that from a professional treatment, at the tip of your fingertips and comfort of your own home. PMD’s patented spinning discs are embedded with aluminum oxide crystals that exfoliate the dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. The device basically gives you the benefits of a professional treatment, while helping to prep your skin to take in all the skin care that we love to treat ourselves with. After the process of treating your skin with the PMD, your skin is left feeling… well, great! Firmer, fresher and radiant!
I started off using the PMD with the gray disk (read all about the discs here) for the first few tries but then moved my way up to the blue disk (for sensitive skin) as my use progressed. Since I have naturally sensitive skin, I continued to use the blue discs and probably will stick with that when using this device. Using the PMD is easy and while it may take a little practice (especially in how you hold it and run it against your skin), once you get the hang of it, it will be an easy step in your beauty regimen. After using the PMD I applied the PMD Recovery Collagen Sheet Masks as apart of my treatment. These masks help to replenish and hydrate my skin while soothing it. It’s perfect as part of the process because my dry sensitive skin needs the extra moisture.
Now, let’s talk about results after a month of using the PMD. PMD encourages that you’ll see maximum results after 8-12 weeks of use and I’ve only been using it for 4 weeks, so please keep that in mind when reading. As you can see from my before photo, I had uneven skin tone throughout my face and discoloration in various areas.

In the photo below, I share with you my after results. Of course, as I always say – Rome wasn’t built in a day, but you can see where my skin is starting to really brighten and look much fresher than before. I also noticed that some of my fine lines are diminishing and not as prominent as they were prior to using the PMD Personal Microderm. My pores on my cheeks are also softer and not as defined and my sun spots (while still visible) are not as noticeable. Since I do not really use foundation, it’s important for my skin to look good.

Because of my sensitive skin, I used the PMD at its bare minimum required so that I would not have an eczema flare-up. But immediately after using the device for just a week, I noticed that my skin had already started to get brighter and felt much smoother. The discolored areas on my face had begun to lighten dramatically and my skin looks much more vibrant than the dull it had looked before. My nose had looked darker in comparison to other parts of my skin before using PMD because I got a lot of sun this summer, but the PMD helped in to even the skin tone in most of the places I had used it. I would have liked to really lighten my acne scars on and near my cheekbones but while it did not get rid of it completely, it did lighten how drastic they appeared on my face.
I’m excited to use the PMD on a long-term basis and compare my photographs to see the difference. I look forward to using the PMD Personal Microderm Device and can’t wait to see how it improves my skin overall. After using it just a month, I did notice a measurable difference in how my skin looks and feels. Since I’m creeping up on my 40s, I am excited to see how it will continue to help me.

What a difference! I hope you keep doing updates.
It’s great that you’re already able to see some benefits after only 4 weeks! It’s so hard to be patient so any improvements is better than waiting even longer!
Your skin looks so even and balanced! <3
your skin looked lovely before, but I agree that there is a difference.
Great post.. The difference is visible.. I haven’t tried anything as such at home.. But if needed, I would love to try..
WoW! You are having wonderful results!! I’m a little shocked to know it’s been a month already. I was really looking forward to this post. thank you for sharing.
So interesting! I’d love if this could smooth out the uneven skin I have on my forehead.
I can see the difference. Glad to hear of a product that works well. 🙂
I really do see a difference. Your skin is overalls brighter!
I can definitely see the difference! You have such gorgeous skin!
Wow, your skin is amazing! I bought one of these (in purple haha) for my acne scars last year, but my derm started with microneedling and subcision. I’ll reach for it once the invasive procedures are over.
