Proper skin care is my secret to the fountain of youth. Instead of hoping that I’ll find that ever illusive and probably fiction fountain everyone searches for, I believe that taking care of your skin is the best way to keeping it healthy and looking great. With skin care comes products that help with taking care of the area around your eyes. The most sensitive part on your face, the eye area needs great care to ensure that your face looks great. I have never tried anything from Oz Naturals prior to this, so I was quite intrigued to see if the product I got the opportunity to test would work for me. I have been reading about the brand on several of my favorite beauty blogs, so I was very excited to be given this opportunity. Today I share with you the Oz Naturals Matrix 6 Mega Bright Eye Gel. After using this product for about two to three weeks, I’m ready to share my first impressions with all of you.
Oz Naturals Matrix 6 Mega Bright Eye Gel retails for $21.49 (currently on sale for $19.99 through the Oz Naturals Amazon Store). The highly effective eye gel formula is packed with ingredients that deliver the best results including: Haloxyl for dark circles, Matrixyl Synthe’6 to help lift wrinkles, skin protecting Apple Stem Cells, Caffeine to reduce puffiness and Hyaluronic Acid to attract moisture.
Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Acrylates Copolymer, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Caffeine, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Tripeptide- 1, Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture Extract, Urea, Sodium Hyaluronate, Chrysin, Xanthan Gum, Maltodextrin, N-Hydroxysuccinimide, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Steareth-20, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Citric Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide.
With the key ingredient of Haloxyl – this product helps to diminish and fade the appearance of dark circles with repeated use. The Caffeine within the product helps to reduce puffiness and the ingredients really help to not only moisturize the eye area but also helps to protect the skin giving your eye area a more youthful look.
The packaging is fairly simple and easy to use. With a pump like dispenser, getting the product out is easy. You get 15 mL / 0.5 fl.oz. of product which is a lot considering a little of this product goes a long way. The product itself is a gel like milky white substance, that applies really nicely to the skin and soaks in nicely without any sticky residue… which I love. One pump is all you need for both eyes and by tapping the product onto your eye area with your ring finger, you’ll get optimum results.
While I haven’t used the product long enough to see a huge difference, I have definitely seen visible results immediately that have me intrigued enough to want to continue use. The price is affordable and can’t be beat and I really enjoy the texture of the gel and how it applies. I will continue the use of this product and will update if I see any extra benefit or change but I think this will surely be one that I’ll continue to use – I’m really liking it. This product is made in the USA and is 84.2% natural. I do feel some tingling upon application and on days my skin is sensitive, the tingle can have a slight burning sensation – but more warming than an actual burn. It doesn’t affect me at all or hurt me in anyway. After each use, I notice a plump like look to the corners of my eyes, giving my eyes a much more youthful look and really filling in some of my fine lines I have on the corners of my eyes. After experiencing years of allergies, I have fine lines that are prominent on the corner of my eyes and this product has helped to fill those in and make them diminish some. After a short period of time, I noticed results that have me wanting to continue the use of this product and the price point is awesome.
Since this is my first time trying anything from Oz Naturals, I’m very impressed. I’m particular with eye gels because my eyes are so sensitive that some make my eyes tear or worst and this one really didn’t offer any issues. I will continue to use this product in the future.
