If you had told me, this time last year, that I would be where I am today, honestly… I would have probably laughed in your face. It’s weird… because sometimes I look in the mirror or at recent photos of me and I still don’t comprehend that the person I’m looking at is actually me. It’s crazy to fathom and I honestly still can’t believe it. But, I’m reminded constantly that all I need to do is look in the mirror, and remind myself how far I’ve come. Today I’m sharing with all of you a winter outfit of the day (OOTD) featuring Pink. With my weight loss, I’ve been much more comfortable to do my outfit posts again so I’m excited to share this one with all of you.
I’m constantly trying to convince myself that the person I see in the mirror, is definitely me. Honestly, I didn’t think I’d get this far and lose as much weight as I have to date. They don’t tell you how much losing weight and trying to get healthier can f*ck with your mind. Sorry about the f-bombs, but it’s true. I still can’t believe I am down 100 lbs since I started this healthy journey 2 years ago. But, even when I feel broken down and tired, tired of working out and eating well and all those other things, I’m reminded to look in the mirror. Look in the mirror and remind yourself how far you’ve come! Okay, nuff with the emotional humdrum… and on to the outfit details.
Outfit details
My cute little tie-dye top is from Pink. I picked it up during a sale while I was there shopping for new sports bras. Honestly, it has easily become one of my favorites because it has a peek-a-boo back that is super cute. It’s a fun t-shirt to dress up or use casually and I love it. I have paired this Pink t-shirt with distressed jeans from Old Navy. These jeans are seriously one of my favorites since they are so comfy to wear. You may be seeing more of this pair in future posts. My handbag is from Patricia Nash Cannes Satchel from the Heritage Collection. My boots, these are what really make this outfit fun. The boots are from Charlotte Russe, sadly which is about to close down.
Accessories
I have been busy working my crafts lately and found myself creating new arm candy to wear. In this outfit, I’m using bangles that are handmade by me. As usual, I’m sporting one of my Invicta watches and for sunglasses, I am using my Coach Horse & Carriage pair.
