Oh Em Gee! I have absolutely been swooning over the FarmHouse Fresh Citrus Cilantro Body Oil and I just had to share my thoughts on it with all of you. Today I’m gonna share with you a little info on this product I’ve been using over the last couple of weeks. I’ve been loving the products I’ve tried from FarmHouse Fresh so far and this body oil is no exception… so let’s share, shall we?
The FarmHouse Fresh Citrus Cilantro Body Oil (4 fl. oz / 118 mL) retails for $18.00 and is 96% natural, vegan and gluten free. I’ll be honest, I didn’t think I would enjoy this fragrance because I’m not a fan of the “cut-grass” scent, but I was completely amazed by how much I have been enjoying this body oil. Just a note – I can’t wait to try out a few other scents in this body oil form. The body oil has a refreshing scent and reminds me of an earthy fragrance like fresh cut herbs. This is the perfect after-shower delight, and leaves my skin feeling soft, silky and soothing. It’s antioxidant rich with Olive fruit and Grapeseed oils with a combination of orange peel, Jojoba, Sunflower Seed and Apricot Kernel oils that will help nourish and calm the most sensitive of skin types.
The FarmHouse Fresh Citrus Cilantro Oil can be used in your bath water or you can apply it directly to your skin as a light but deeply hydrating body oil. I prefer to apply it directly to my skin because I have dry skin and find that I can concentrate it best in the areas that need it most. The Citrus Cilantro oil imparts wonderful benefits to the skin and help to diminish the damaging effects of sun, enhance the synthesis of healthy collagen and elastin and improve the skin’s texture. The scent is quite intoxicating and I love that it is can be unisex so my husband can use it as well.
My favorite way to use this body oil is to apply to the dry areas on my body like my hands, feet, arms and legs or any other rough or dry spots. It leaves my skin feeling wonderful after applied and I especially love how my skin glistens. Since the summer months mean a lot of sun and a little bit of skin, I love the shine this oil gives my skin… it’s wonderful.
Now, if you don’t use oils on your skin (what are you waiting for???), this product may seem a bit odd to you. But once you try oils, it will be hard to use anything else. I love that this oil soaks into my skin and leaves it feeling so soft and hydrated. I have naturally dry skin that’s Eczema prone and I use oils for cleansing and moisturizing on a daily. But, I love an oil that does all of that and leaves you smelling so fragrant and looking fab. This product includes some of my favorite oils to keep my skin looking and feeling it’s best.
I love sweet scents and it’s kind of become my signature scent over the years, but I was pleasantly amazed at how much this scent won me over. One of my favorite fragrances to use is Malin + Goetz Dark Rum EDT and I absolutely love how the Citrus Cilantro Body Oil pairs and layers with that particular scent. It’s wonderful.
FarmHouse Fresh has won my heart over once again with a scent and product that has captured all the things I enjoy in a body oil or in a skin care product. I can’t wait to pick up the other products I have on my list and try out more of their body oils soon. If you are looking for something luxurious that will offer your body some extra pampering why heightening your senses whether it be for the summer months or year round, I definitely suggest checking this product out. When I use the FarmHouse Fresh Citrus Cilantro Oil I feel like I’m at my own personal spa and I love it!
