Happy Day Loves!  So, as most of you know Pantone released their color of the year a few months ago and I have been so stoked since it is a purple shade.  We all know purple is my favorite color so I was super excited when my friend Beth and I decided that we were going to do a Makeup Collaboration.  This will be my first makeup collab with her and I must say – I love how it all turned out.  This look was fairly simple to create (as is Beth’s) and it could even double as a makeup look you could sport for Valentine’s Day!

Love that lippie on you…well, combination of lippies. It’s really pretty. I picked up an OPI texture the other day – My Favorite Crush (I think) that turned out to be a perfect ‘orchid’ color on me. I was really surprised and happy. I was trendy for a hot minute!

I was wrong – it’s ‘My current crush’. I got it at Ulta in a duo pack with a base coat.

        • sweet – I’m g onna check out Ulta’s website. I don’t have an ulta here near me. Thank you so much for letting me know 😉

  2. I don’t think this is an easy color for everyone to carry off but you do it so well.

    • thank you. 🙂 I think that if the shade is mixed with something else that is complimentary to the person’s skin tone, it may work. Thank you 🙂

    • omigosh – thank you so much – that really means a lot to me. I’m starting to believe what the hubby has been telling me for years. 😉

  5. I’ve got to get my hands on that lipstick of yours…it’s absolutely beautiful!

    • it’s a combination of Milani’s colorstatement liner in fuchsia, Milani’s violet volt lipstick and then topped with a gloss called Angel food cake from NYX (butter gloss). 😉 I am so amazed at the color that came from it. 😉 thank you
