Hi Friends. I’m excited to share a new video with all of you. Check out a few new things I found at the drugstore and some PR Goodies I received recently. All information, as well as purchase links, can be found in the description of the video. Have a wonderful day.
I have been doing really well on my Makeup Spending Challenge (you can read more about it here) so that is why you haven’t been seeing many posts on new cosmetics lately. However, when I got the email for ColourPop’s Spring release, I literally couldn’t contain my excitement and I couldn’t resist. I was particularly taken by one of the five shades so I figured I would get at least four for my collection. Now, if you have been following me a while – you know that when it comes to ColourPop I have quite an addiction – especially for the shadows… so I knew it would be a warranted purchase… lol.
The colors I choose and ordered were: Luckfully, Wattles, Flower Shop and Belladonna Lilly. When I seen Belladonna Lily I thought instantly of my friend Beth (Pearlznlacebybeth.com) because she wears that type of shade so nicely and of course, Flower Shop was a love at first site. Let’s take a deeper look at each shade, shall we?
Luckfully is a bright cobalt blue with a pearlized finish. It’s absolutely gorgeous and perfect for deepening out the crease or used all over the lid for a stunning look. This shadow does stain the lids a little though… so I would suggest using an eye shadow primer underneath and prior to applying the shadow to your eyes lids.
Wattles is described as a dusty beige pink in a satin finish. I actually think the color reminds me of a dusty rose with a brown undertone… but that’s just me putting in my own input. This is a gorgeous shadow to use in the crease or as a transition shade and also works well on the lid or blended onto the lower lash line. It has a gorgeous sheen that looks like it has a bit of shimmer, but not glittery.
Flower shop is my favorite out of the four. It reminds me of MAC’s steamy, though I would not consider it a dupe, it just reminds me of it. It is described as a vibrant blue green with a soft gold pearl on top and a pearlized finish. To me, it reminds me of a mermaid or her tail. It’s a gorgeous shade of teal and turquoise blend with a gold/silver shift… or at least, that’s my take on it.
Belladonna Lily is a gorgeous pastel shade. Described as a soft pastel aqua in a matte finish – this shadow would make a great base for Flower Shop or used on it’s own. It has that pastel but powdery aqua look and feel to it and would be one of those shades perfect for Spring. Used with Wattles or any of the other shades I picked up, I think this would make a great addition to any eye look this Spring or Summer.
If you are like me and love a great teal shade, I highly suggest picking up Flower Shop. I have mentioned this quite a few times already, but it is my favorite color out of the four I picked up. I don’t have any eye looks to share with you at this time, but I cant’ wait to share some with you once I start feeling a little better, so stay tuned for those.
Are you a ColourPop eye shadow addict like me? Have you seen these shadows and do you plan on picking any of them up? If so, what shades do you have your eyes on?

Who doesn’t love a bite sized chocolate treat as a gift, favor or just because? M&M’s is a chocolate treat that claims to “melt in your mouth – not in your hand” and a childhood favorite that many love. Recently I had the opportunity to place a personalized order from My M&M’s and I wanted to share the chocolate goodness with you as well as my customer service experience. Don’t free like reading? Stop by my video and I’ll chit chat and show and tell with you.
A week ago I decided that I would cash in on a gift code for My M&M’s that I had for taking part in a campaign a few months ago. I have never ordered anything from their personalized website before, so this was not only an exciting experience for me, but I was looking forward to seeing how detailed the design on my M&M’s would be. After a glitch in their system with my code I called their 800 number and was promptly greeted by Red & Yellow M&M on the other line while I waited for the next customer service representative. As a fan of M&M’s and the commercials, I thought it was quite cute to listen to Red & Yellow interact with one another and patiently waited for the next representative.
After a few minutes, Richard answered the phone. He was a kind mannered gentlemen that walked me patiently through my order (which included various steps and designs) and processed my order accordingly. After a 40 minute time frame over the phone, Richard and I were able to complete my order and I received an email confirmation with the final design as well as my order laid out for me. I was very impressed with the customer service I received via the telephone because my Customer Service Agent took the time to not only ensure he was getting my designs right, but the spelling, colors and every else I had planned to do via their website. Since I added an image to customize my M&M’s – I had to email the image to him and he was able to process that portion quickly. While we took some time going over every aspect, Richard did so kindly, patiently and his customer service was superb. There are few places that you can call and have not only great service but also someone who is patient. Even while I edited the image for color correction and brightness, he held on the line without any complaints.
Shipping to Hawaii was quick. My order was sent overnight via Fedex, which allowed my M&M’s to be delivered in tact and quickly – without any melting. Each product within the box was packaged well so that everything was not only protected but arrived safely.
I ordered a 2lb. bag of M&M’s that already had a set design, as well an Acrylic Gift Box with Plus Mrs. Brown Kit that had personalized M&M’s in it where I was able to customize and select: Three (3) colors of my choosing (I went with Lavender, Light Pink and Platinum), Image Personalization, Custom Wording and Clip Art. The Acrylic container holds 10 servings of your personalized M&M’s and it sits in a pretty black box which makes such a great gift. I was happy to get Mrs. Brown too and knew I had to have her because she reminds me of me – lol.
The photo I selected on my M&M’s was one of my husband and I. The detail on the image is great and everything looks absolutely perfect. Not to mention, they taste delicious too… just as I come to expect from one of my favorite candies. The spelling for everything I provided was not only accurate, but the font is legible and everything looked great. Not one M&M arrived damaged and it was a sweet treat to have for my husband and I.
I’m not only impressed with the service I received from My M&M’s but also the quality of my treats. The 2lb bag of pink M&M’s came with a little white scoop which made enjoying our treat easy and the quality of each item was well made and of quality.
A few years ago a friend of mine worked with me to design some M&M’s for her wedding. It was simplistic and you could only add initials at that time so I was so happy to see the different types of customizing you can do to the M&M’s now and the fact that this could all be done online as well. I’m glad there is an option available for those looking for a fun and thoughtful gift or something “sweet” to give out as favors at your next event. Regardless of the reason, I think My M&M’s is a great way to go and I would return to buy and order again.
Did you know that you could customize M&M’s this way? If so, have you tried for yourself or are your planning to? Be sure to check out my video where I walk you through each product and discuss my thoughts with you as well.
Disclaimer: The product(s) featured in this post were purchased at a discount thanks to a gift code that I received from a previous campaign. I did pay for some of the items out of pocket. All opinions are my own, 100% honest and unbiased and I was not paid to provide my thoughts or feature these products.
I’m all about saving a buck and finding things on sale or at a discounted price but finding clothes that fits this voluptuous body of mine can be a struggle and a challenge. A few years back I was introduced to 599Fashion.com and have been a fan of the site since. While I was sent these items for review and feature from 599Fashion.com – I have purchased from the site a lot over the years and I wanted to share the newest threads I acquired this time around.
So what is 599Fashion.com? This is a website that offers you a variety of clothing and accessories that cost $5.99 or less. Now, over the years they have added other items like footwear that do cost a tad bit more – but for the most part, nothing is over $8.00 from what I can see. You can find everything from regular sized clothing for women and plus sizes too (woohoo for me) but there is also a lot of accessories from jewelry to handbags and other fun items all at reasonable and affordable costs. What I enjoy about 599fashion.com is that they not only ship to Hawaii, but shipping costs are not outrageous like other sites can be.

I am all about comfy and casual clothes but I also love lace so I’m always excited to see lace on the site. The top I’m using in the photo above is a ribbed racerback style tank that has lace down the back and is comfy and cool. This top is just $5.99 and was available in several different colors.
Since I tend to find lace on the site often, I’m always picking up something with a little lace detailing. The top in the photo above is a black round neck top with lace illusion back and sleeves. I love it. Made of a cotton and spandex blend, it’s comfy and cozy and again – just $5.99. It is also available in a variety of colors too.
I think the tops that are offered on the site – especially those for plus sized gals like me are fun and flirty and you simply can’t beat the price tag. After years of shopping on 599fashion.com I have found a variety of maxi dresses, tops and even cute flip flops that I have loved. The only downfall about the site or company is that due to the demand, supply and the affordability the products on the site can sell out quickly. One day it can be there and the next it is completely gone. Because of this you want to ensure that you get it when you see it or it may not be there the next time you come back.
Now let’s talk about the ease of shopping on the site. It’s simple really! You can search or select your size to make shopping easier or simply browse the site. It’s updated consistently and new things are added each week. I love the fact that when I order something, I can see the sizes available and know that I’ll get the product if I ordered it. My experience with shopping on 599fashion.com is always seamless and there are never any issues.
The quality of clothing that I have purchased and received over the years are actually not bad. Considering the price point, you are getting the same kind of quality as you would from stores like RAVE, Jeans Warehouse (Hawaii), Forever21 and even Charlotte Russe. I examine all of the clothing when they arrive to ensure they are not ripped or damaged and I have NEVER had an issue. I have personally ordered from this site at least 10 times and have never had a piece of clothing arrive damaged. I especially love the maxi dresses from this site because they fit well and are so comfy for dressy days or lounging.
If you are looking for something affordable or to get a great buy for your money, I suggest checking out the site and seeing if there is something you may want. While I was sent these products for review and feature, I have been and continue to be a customer of the site. Another thing I enjoy picking up is little toys and trinkets for my sons – which are also available. Stop by and check it all out.

When it comes to office and stationary products, I just can’t resist and often times I find myself combing through the office supply sections of my local stores just as much as I’m going through the beauty sections. Because of this, I always love to find great deals on office and business like products and even more so, I love when I can personalize them. Recently I placed an order on Minted.com (I featured this company on my site last week, you can read about that here) and received my personalized goodies via Fedex last week Friday. I loved all the products that I couldn’t wait to share them with all of you.
Minted.com offers a wide range of artwork and products you can personalize. Since I was on the hunt for new blogger cards, I decided that I would test the quality of Minted and see what they had to offer. Customizing my business cards were simple and effortless and when I received the products in the mail, I was beyond impressed with the quality. Having been a long time Moo customer, I was impressed at how thick the paperstock was and loved the pearlized finish on the cards. They are well made and I love the box they come in.
Shauna Stripe Business Cards come in a set of 25 for $36.00. These cards have a pearlescent finish and look almost metallic. While I uploaded my own photos to create the card, it was easy to customize and you could choose from different fonts available as well as sizing and layouts.
These cards can be customized both on the front and back so it allows you to include all the necessary information you would want on a business card. The second set of business cards are called Pretty Play Date Cards… perfect for mommies. These are square cards (super cute) that retails for $30 and includes 20 cards. Customizing this card was simple as well and definitely fun to do.
I also ordered two gold washi tape rolls, which I thought would be great to not only add to my washi collection, but I love gold and haven’t found anything like this in my local stores. One Washi Tape is just plain gold and the other is gold stripes. Both are quality washi and I’m excited to use them in my planner. Each roll of Washi was $4.00 and comes with a lot on the roll.
I also ordered a personalized notebook. The Glitter Heart Notebook allows you to write your name and select a font that you will like. There are also a few color choices you can go with for the stripes, so I choose Lavender / Lilac – of course! The notebook is a basic lined book that will be a great gift for anyone in school or office.
I am a huge fan of sites and products that can be personalized to fit my taste and Minted is no exception. The quality is great – offering you a plethora of products that you can give as gifts or buy for yourself. Besides the goodies I just hauled, you can also order artwork and various items as mentioned in my previous post.
So tell me, have you heard of Minted before? If not, what sites are you shopping to make personalized items for yourself and loved ones? Share with me and tell me below in the comments if you have any that I can check it out.
