I’m all about saving a buck and finding things on sale or at a discounted price but finding clothes that fits this voluptuous body of mine can be a struggle and a challenge.  A few years back I was introduced to 599Fashion.com and have been a fan of the site since.  While I was sent these items for review and feature from 599Fashion.com – I have purchased from the site a lot over the years and I wanted to share the newest threads I acquired this time around.

So what is 599Fashion.com?  This is a website that offers you a variety of clothing and accessories that cost $5.99 or less.  Now, over the years they have added other items like footwear that do cost a tad bit more – but for the most part, nothing is over $8.00 from what I can see.  You can find everything from regular sized clothing for women and plus sizes too (woohoo for me) but there is also a lot of accessories from jewelry to handbags and other fun items all at reasonable and affordable costs.  What I enjoy about 599fashion.com is that they not only ship to Hawaii, but shipping costs are not outrageous like other sites can be.

I am all about comfy and casual clothes but I also love lace so I’m always excited to see lace on the site.  The top I’m using in the photo above is a ribbed racerback style tank that has lace down the back and is comfy and cool.  This top is just $5.99 and was available in several different colors.

Since I tend to find lace on the site often, I’m always picking up something with a little lace detailing.  The top in the photo above is a black round neck top with lace illusion back and sleeves.  I love it.  Made of a cotton and spandex blend, it’s comfy and cozy and again – just $5.99.  It is also available in a variety of colors too.

I think the tops that are offered on the site – especially those for plus sized gals like me are fun and flirty and you simply can’t beat the price tag.  After years of shopping on 599fashion.com I have found a variety of maxi dresses, tops and even cute flip flops that I have loved.  The only downfall about the site or company is that due to the demand, supply and the affordability the products on the site can sell out quickly.  One day it can be there and the next it is completely gone.  Because of this you want to ensure that you get it when you see it or it may not be there the next time you come back.

Now let’s talk about the ease of shopping on the site.  It’s simple really!  You can search or select your size to make shopping easier or simply browse the site.  It’s updated consistently and new things are added each week.  I love the fact that when I order something, I can see the sizes available and know that I’ll get the product if I ordered it.  My experience with shopping on 599fashion.com is always seamless and there are never any issues.

The quality of clothing that I have purchased and received over the years are actually not bad.  Considering the price point, you are getting the same kind of quality as you would from stores like RAVE, Jeans Warehouse (Hawaii), Forever21 and even Charlotte Russe.  I examine all of the clothing when they arrive to ensure they are not ripped or damaged and I have NEVER had an issue.  I have personally ordered from this site at least 10 times and have never had a piece of clothing arrive damaged.  I especially love the maxi dresses from this site because they fit well and are so comfy for dressy days or lounging.

If you are looking for something affordable or to get a great buy for your money, I suggest checking out the site and seeing if there is something you may want.  While I was sent these products for review and feature, I have been and continue to be a customer of the site.  Another thing I enjoy picking up is little toys and trinkets for my sons – which are also available.  Stop by and check it all out.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I have a HUGE watch addiction… so much so that I have more watches than I could ever use in a lifetime and I can’t live without a watch on so I even sleep with my watch.  I have my favorite brands, my favorite styles and since I’m someone who spends a lot of time in the ocean, I have my Diver’s watches – but I have absolutely fallen in love with a style that is not only timeless, it’s unique.  JORD watches are gorgeous wood watches created in different finishes and designs for every lifestyle.  Today I am sharing with you the JORD Sully in Black & Maple.  This watch has been a favorite of mine for days I want to dress up or those that I chose to be chill and lax.

Not only is each watch beautifully crafted, but they are packaged as show stoppers and each come in a gorgeous wooden box.  If the box alone didn’t make a statement for you, the watch enclosed within will surely make your jaw drop.  I have owned various watches over the years, from many high end brands and I have to say – Jord definitely takes the cake in packaging because I fell in love with the box before I even seen what was included inside.

Each watch ranges in cost between $129 and $295, the most expensive being the Dover which includes Koa wood.  That is what attracted me immediately to these watches since Koa is a prized wood here in Hawaii and I had my eyes on the Dover since the first day I heard about Jord.  I received the Sully in Black and Maple which is a gorgeous watch with blond and dark wood.  The time piece itself is absolutely gorgeous and retailing for just $139 – this watch makes a great gift for anyone (hint – hint, Father’s Day is just a few short weeks away).  Each watch is adjustable and if you provide your size to Jord, they can size your watch for you prior to shipping it out your way.

As I mentioned previously, I have the Sully.  The Sully series marries complimentary and contrasting woods giving this watch a vivid and varied tonal effect.  It has large face numbers and a cut out bezel to add to that playful and sporty look that you can use on a daily basis, but the watch itself is so pretty that this classically styled timepiece can be worn for any and every occasion.

Each JORD watch is designed to be splash proof, but is not intended to be completely submerged in water.  Also, due to the nature of the wood chosen for each timepiece, colors and grain patterns may vary from photos.  Just like finger prints – while Jord watches a similar series, they have their own little finger print in the wood grain.

What’s great about JORD watches is that these time pieces are made in the United States and made of quality materials.  I love that there really is a watch for anyone – any size and style.  I picked a large face watch because I’m all about those large watches and I love dressing this watch up or down and it’s perfect for a casual day of lounging.

So – are you a watch addict like me?  I am absolutely in love with all of the styles and I’m itching to get a Dover for me and one for my hubby for Father’s Day.  He NEVER busy anything for himself and is my biggest supporter of my blog, so my goal is to pick one up for him soon.  I adore the Sully and I’m very impressed with how well it was made and how stylish it is.  If you are looking for a watch that’s definitely unique and offers you a style all its own – I definitely suggest you check out Jord.  If you have a special Dad in your life, I highly suggest you check this site out.

Spring Fashion and Style – Plus Size Outfit Featuring Miche Bag

It’s no secret that when it comes to fashion, anything I wear or use must not only be functional but also comfortable.  Sometimes I feel like my laid back lifestyle has me too lax and often it can be a bit basic, but I love taking basics and turning them into something fun and fashionable.  I’m born and raised in Hawaii so most of my life you could find me in a bikini or bathing suit with board shorts and a surf board, but now that I’ve changed things up a bit, I try to add a little more flair to what has become comfortable.  While what I wear may be simple, consisting of mostly basics to allow for me to change up from time to time – I love to add handbags that will give me a sense of style and freedom at the same time.  Accessories can make or break a look easily so here is what I do to take a basic outfit and jazz it up a bit.  Here’s my plus size outfit featuring Miche Bag to compliment the look.

First, I start off with a basic look.  Today I have decided that I wanted to use one of my favorite black strapless dresses but have a little cover up for a fun and casual look.

Since Flip flops are pretty much the go to for most looks here in Hawaii, I decided that would be a great choice not only for comfort but also for style.  I decided to go with a platform/wedge style flip flop to add a dressier flare to the look

No outfit is complete without some accessories and for me I wanted it to be simple, basic but still add a little flare. If you have been following this blog or my YouTube channel a while, then you know I’m pretty simple and usually will have the same type of necklace or watch for my daily style.  Today I switched up my watch and included something that would be fun and add a little bit of swagger to my look.

Last but not least – it’s all about the handbags.  It’s no secret that I’m a huge handbag fanatic… my husband can attest to that (teehee), and I’m always looking for the perfect bag to help accommodate all of my personal and mommy needs as well as be functional and stylish.  About 5 years ago I was introduced to Michebags and immediately fell in love with not only the quality – but the styles and the price.  Let’s just say that I love these bags so much that I own two different sizes and over 12 shells… ssshhh… don’t tell the pocket book. lol

Now – just because I have a really relaxed style, doesn’t mean you can’t jazz up a similar look with say a pair of strappy heels or wedges or even a larger necklace for a statement piece.  What I love about style is that it is just like makeup and it’s all about the individual and their preferences.

I Can See Clearly Now – Firmoo Glasses Review

Did I talk about the shipping?  Well, the glasses come from overseas but let me tell you, shipping is always quick and I get my glasses in my hands and ready to use quickly and delivered in one piece.  I’m always impressed with that because I order a new pair of prescription glasses every 8 months or so and I know that I can order and have it in my hands quickly.

Dress Up Fun – LED Light Up Devil Horns

I know, I know… Halloween has come and gone, but I didn’t have a chance to post this earlier so I’m playing catch up right now.  The boys and I had fun with some LED Light Up Devil Horns we got off of Amazon and we are still enjoying it even after Halloween has passed.

Looking for a quick costume or something fun?  Check out these Light Up LED Devil Horns.  They are just $9.00 on Amazon and I love that they fit my rather large head and my quaff of hair- which is a bonus since most headbands don’t fit me properly.  With a tiny little button, you can turn the light on and off on the horns and it is fun and festive.
