For months I had planned to do an easy Holiday Glam Look for Christmas and before I knew it, we were already in December and I had to get with it.  This look really is all about the lips and I wanted it to be bold and show stopping.  I think red lips are sexy and sultry and offer such a wonderful touch to complete your holiday makeup looks.  For this tutorial I bring to you an Easy Holiday Glam Makeup look featuring soft eyes and red lips.

Easy Holiday Glam Makeup

For this look, I used my Lorac Mega Pro Palette.  I really wish Lorac makes this palette permanent as it is one of my favorites now and I love the color range.  Check out my step by step makeup tutorial in the video embedded below or click here to watch it directly on YouTube.

Easy Holiday Glam Makeup

This look is really simple to create and all the drama is in the lips.  If you are not fond of red lips, you can always switch this look up with any lip color you choose.  What I enjoy is that the shades I chose for this look are really complimentary to most eye shades and skin tones.  It’s a soft-wearable look and has a lot of Glam and drama once you add the bold red lip.  I hope you guys enjoyed this look.

Wishing you all a happy holiday season!

I love natural looking brows.  I think they create a statement without going overboard.  I’ve been pretty lucky in that my natural brows are quite full and sometimes instead of drawing them in or filling them in, tinted brow gels are my best friend.  Lashem Colour Strokes Brow Tint Lift has been a great addition to my brow game and offers me a little tint while I fill in my brows softly and they last all day and stay in place for the long haul.

Lashem Colour Strokes Brow Tint Lift

Lashem’s Colour Strokes Brow Tint and Lift with Lash Enhancing Serum retails for just $20 and available in three shades: Blonde, Brunette and Raven.  I have Brunette which has an almost bronze tint to it.  I love that while it is a tad bit lighter than my natural brow hair, it offers a brighter look and makes my eyes look much more awake.  I also love when brows are just a bit lighter.

Lashem Colour Strokes Brow Tint Lift

The brush is similar to any brow gel brush on the market and that of a mascara wand.  Super easy to apply… just swipe onto your brows to fill them in. Since the brow tint has Lashem’s lash enhancing serum, it helps with eyebrow growth and works well for shaping.  The formula is filled with powerful peptides that help provide protection against breakage and naturally supports stronger, voluminous brows.  The applicator is designed to distribute the gel evenly and precisely to fill in the gaps and to sculpt your brows in one simple application.  Like I said before, one swipe and you’re pretty much done.

Since I have sensitive skin and I’m a busy busy mom, I’m always looking for products that will allow my mommy makeup routine be quick and easy, but also not sacrifice my sensitivities that products can give me.  This product allows for quick brows in seconds and I don’t have any skin irritations when using this product.  This product is long lasting, after applying in the morning, I love that my brows are still in place at the end of the day.  This is a great topper gel to hold your brows in place if you shade them in.  The gel is easy to remove, use your favorite makeup remover, wipe or cleanser and they are gone as easy and quickly as you applied them.  What makes them great is that it is great for sensitive eyes, safe for all day wear and for use with contacts.

I’m a huge fan of Instanatural products having tried a few of the products they offer in the past and still continuing to use some of them.  Recently I have been using their Age Defying Skin Clearing Serum for flawless and youthful skin and here are my thoughts on this product.

Retailing for about $38.00 (currently on sale on Amazon for about $24.00), this serum includes 1 fl oz worth of product and comes in a pretty attractive dropper type bottle.  With 20% Vitamin C, this formula contains professional strength ingredients to offer a powerful antioxidant that repairs damaged skin and protect against future damage.  Like some of my favorite Vitamin C serums, this product also contains Hyaluronic Acid which helps to boost the skin’s ability to retain moisture – which is important for my dry skin. Together these two ingredients work well to renew skin and reduce the signs of aging to include wrinkles, fine lines and hyper-pigmentation. This particular serum is a gentle formula and suitable for all skin types – even oily skin and glides on smoothly, absorbs quickly and won’t irritate or burn your skin.  Made in the USA & Cruelty Free, this serum does not contain harmful ingredients such as alcohol, parabens and sulfates.

Ingredients include: Deionized Water, Organic Aloe, Vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate), MSM, Vegan Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide), Retinol, Olive Oil Squalene, Capryloyl Salicylic Acid, Rosehip Seed Oil, Carbomer, L-arginine, Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil, Tea Tree Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil, Organic Gotu Kola, Wildcrafted Horsetail , Wildcrafted Dandelion , Wild Geranium , Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin

Used in combination with my normal skin care products, I apply this serum at night to help rejuvenate and soothe my skin and prep it for the next day.  This serum is not too heavy – liquid like in texture with very little scent.  It applies nicely and soaks into the skin quickly allowing me to be able to apply my other skin care products shortly after.  Like any of the vitamin c type serums I use or have used, I have noticed similar results but I love using this product in combination with my favorites because it works just as well if not better.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

It is not often that I purchase a palette and find almost immediately that I am a huge fan, but the Anastasia Beverly Hills Tamanna Dress Your Face Palette has been one of those palettes that I immediately crushed on.  I’m not gonna lie, I wasn’t really intrigued by it when I first seen it released.  I thought to myself… eh, I’ll skip this one, but decided to cash in on a discount I had and it was a great investment.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Tamanna Palette

SELF PURCHASED / AFFILIATE LINKS

Anastasia Beverly Hills does it again with a collaboration with Makeup Artist Tamanna Roashan, also known as Dress Your Face on social media. This collection of shadows includes Tamanna’s “must have” shades to achieve her most requested looks that can easily be paired with any skin tone.  A combination of warm and cool tones combined to create anything from smoky eyes to intricate cut creases and everything in between can be accomplished using this palette.

At $29.00 this palette is a HUGE steal – including ten show stopping shades.  This is my third eye shadow palette produced by Anastasia Beverly Hills and quite honestly my favorite.  Be sure to click and watch the video embedded below for a live review and my thoughts on this palette or click here to watch directly on YouTube.

Already a show stopper, this gorgeous palette with a cover design that makes you intrigued, includes highly pigmented shadows from stunning neutrals to shimmering jewel tones that are really easy to blend and definitely fun to work with.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Tamanna Palette

If you are someone who loves neutral shades but are looking for a palette that may offer you a little pop of color, I think this would be a great find for you.  It is a rare thing for me to find a small palette that offers a matte browbone highlight shade, a deep matte black and then a good transition shade and this palette offers Fresh which is a matte browbone shade I like to use, Bengal which I use as the perfect transition and then Noir or Chocolate which will help to deepen the outer V or crease.  The rest of the shades are bonuses.

Left to Right – Fresh, Blush, Venezia, Gilded, Custom
Left to Right - Sangria, Bengal, Chocolate, China Rose, Noir
Left to Right – Sangria, Bengal, Chocolate, China Rose, Noir

In my swatches Sangria shows up a lot less pigmented then it really is so I’ve included makeup looks with the colors in this palette so you can see how they look on the eyes.  Below I am using Sangria all over the lid and while it is used over a base, the color is very vibrant naturally in comparison to the swatch which became washed out due to lighting.  Sorry about that.

Sangria on my lid, Noir on the Outer V, Bengal as transition shade, Chocolate in the crease, Fresh as browbone highlight and Venezia as inner corner highlight.

Fall Berry Smokey Eye

I also used the Tamanna palette to recreate this look (above) and again, as you can see, the color is quite bold when taken in proper lighting.  Tutorial for this look can be found here.

Considering there are a plethora of palettes on the market today all ranging in prices and some quite on the high end price spectrum, I definitely suggest this palette for anyone looking to add a new makeup palette to your list.  With the holidays so quickly approaching, this would be a great gift for any makeup lover on your Christmas list and of course – a great palette for you too.

This is still available at Anastasiabeverlyhills.com and Ulta.com.  Get up to 6% cash back if you sign up with Ebates right now (click here) and purchase on Ulta.com.

Do you own this palette?  If not, is this something you have on your holiday wish list?
