I always look forward to goodies in the mail and this was no exception.  Recently I received my Walmart Beauty Box for Summer and I’m always excited to see the goods they include.   The Walmart Beauty Box is free though you do pay a $5.00 shipping cost.  It’s sent out seasonally and this is my 5th box I have received in the last year.  Signing up is easy and you can choose to cancel or automatically be billed each time they are about to send out a new box.  Honestly, I kind of forget about the subscription until I get a notification that it is on its way.  Included in the Beauty box you can find full size or sample and deluxe size beauty goods from lotions to nail polish and everything in between.  Today I am sharing with you the goodies in my Walmart Summer Beauty Box.

So each season you get a box of goods that include all kinds of beauty things.  What I love about this box is that you can get full size items, travel sized items and samples.  Each season I have received a great value of products which is why I continue to stay subscribed.  While everything you receive can be found at the drugstore or from Walmart – I still think it is a great way to test out some new treats.  My Summer Beauty box included the following items:

You can sign up for the Walmart Beauty Box here. So – have you heard of the Walmart Beauty Box or have you tried something similar?  I know Target has one but it is not a box that you can sign up for auto-send so I need to sign up for one each time released and a lot of the time they do not send to Hawaii due to the type of products in the contents of the box – i.e. hasmat, etc.  What I love about the Walmart box is while it can be shipped Parcel to Hawaii when hasmat items are included (which means about a 6 week delivery), at least I still have the option of trying some new products or keep a stash for travel when needed.  Overall – at $5.00 a box, it’s affordable and you get a treat every season.

Beauty Bursts taste pretty good for a product that is considered a supplement.  It tastes like mint chocolate and are soft and easy to chew.  It is suggested that you take 2 to 4 soft chews daily.  I prefer to take two since I already take a lot of supplements on a daily basis.  I will take them in the morning after breakfast.  I love that these are available because I take a plethora of supplements daily – from multi vitamins, hair supplements, Fish Oil and more and that doesn’t include my daily medications I take for my asthma and allergies so this makes it so much easier.  The product is made right here in the USA and does not contain soy, wheat, lactose, palm oil, starch, yeast or artificial flavors.

This product has an all natural formula with good flavor and if you are not good with a beauty routine that includes serums, etc – this may be a product you may want to try.  I love that all the essential ingredients in serums that I use daily are in this product so if I’m in a rush and can’t apply my normal skin products, many are still included in the chews:  i.e. Collagen Type 1 & 3, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C.

I also love that these make it easy to continue with your beauty regimen while traveling.  No more having to worry if the size of your serums will meet the TSA regulations for travel, these fit in your purse or carry on and you’re good to go.

Beneleaf Anti-Aging Skin Care Collagen Eye Masks – Under Eye Patches

I am thankful that I don’t have puffy under eyes… though I’m constantly cautious and on my game because puffy under eyes or eye bags run in the family on my dad’s side.  Let’s face it, with everything on the market today – there has got to be a product that I know will help combat this issue and prevent it from happening.  Because of this issue that may be in my future, I use eye creams and gels and love to wear under eye patches to help keep my under eyes moisturized, tighter, brighter and smoother.  Over the last few weeks I have been using under eye patches from Beneleaf Anti-Aging Skin Care.  I have never heard of this brand prior to trying their products, but I think this will definitely be a household name in my home.  When it comes to a Collagen Eye Mask – under eye patches, it is important that you find one that works and feel comfortable on.  Here are my thoughts on this product.

Beneleaf Anti-Aging Skin Care Collagen Eye Masks - Under Eye Patches

Beneleaf’s Collagen Under Eye Masks retail for $24.99 (on sale now for $19.99) and come in a pack of five masks.  These patches are made from a proprietary material called Hydrogel which is identical in structure to our skin cells.  Once they come in contact with skin, the cells immediately begin to pull in all the nutrients from masks into the deepest layers of the dermis.  Immediately after applying the masks, I felt like my under eyes were quenched and hydrated and I loved it!

The collagen masks include a unique blend of proven ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid (a favorite skin care product of mine), power antioxidants and peptides which result in tighter, brighter and smoother skin around the eyes.  After the first use, I felt like my skin under my area definitely became brighter and didn’t feel as dry as it can be.  What I love is that these are just so easy to use and leave absolutely no mess behind.  The results last for days and I usually will use one once a week.

These masks do not stick and stay in place and do eventually start to slide if you are not laying down.  So I normally apply them and then lay in bed with a magazine or get caught up on my favorite shows.  As you can see from the photo above, they will start to slide down your face if you are not laying flat.  It doesn’t bother me though, I like to take the time to really just enjoy 10-15 minutes of relaxation time and will lay down after applying.

How to apply:

  • After thoroughly cleansing your skin, apply each mask under the eye area. (see photo)  The largest part will go nearest to your nose.
  • Allow the mask to sit and work for 10-15 minutes.  Go ahead and lay down and relax.
  • Once the time is up – carefully remove the mask.  You do not need to wash the serum off as it will work as a great treatment and will soak into the skin quickly.
  • Repeat the treatment as needed.  I usually will use one every week or so depending on how my under eyes are feeling.
  • Toss the mask away and you’re good to go till your next treatment.

These masks are suitable for all/most skin types:  Dry, Oily, Normal and Combination skin.  With my sensitive skin I didn’t notice any issues at all and it didn’t cause any flare ups or skin sensitivities.  You will notice that any puffiness and dark circles you may have will be reduced quickly.  I love that my skin feels tight and plump after one use and it’s great that these products do not contain Parabens or Alcohol.

If you use this product as I do, a pack of these will last you about a month – I use them once a week as needed.  The product is priced pretty well and I love how soothing it feels under my eyes.  On days where I feel like I had a crazy run around kind of time, I’ll put these on to help me relax and just enjoy the pampering.  There is a light fragrance in these products, one I haven’t quite figured out yet, but it is not overpowering and did not bother my sensitivities to smell.  I love the light cooling sensation these have on my skin and I find that putting the masks in the fridge prior to applying them (for about 30 minutes to an hour prior) makes for a great cool-off session during this hot summer heat.  I definitely recommend these and can’t wait to use more products from this line.

Over a good base or primer, these shadows offer pretty nice staying power – about 7-8 hours easily and the colors can be built up for a bold look if you so choose.  These shadows are Cruelty Free and 100% Vegan – made without animal ingredients like Carmine, Beeswax and Lanolin.  I love the shades and think this palette is a nifty size, perfect for travel.  I wish it included a mirror and the names of the shadows were listed on the palette itself so I knew what to call them, but regardless, I’m quite impressed having not tried any eye shadow palettes from Pacifica before.  Some of the shadows did take a little for me to built up on – but I also have darker / tanned skin so that may have some to do with it.  The Taupe and Bronze shades are my favorite and I find that the dark blue, burgundy and turquoise have the best color payoff when applied wet.  Overall – not bad for the price and I love that it is so easily available at your local Target.

Another product I wanted to discuss today are the Coco Pure Makeup Removing Wipes. Retailing for $6.99 – these coconut milk infused natural towelettes gently cleanse and wipe away makeup, excess oil, dirt and daily pollutants.  These wipes include Jojoba Oil and Ale Vera which make these wipes great for all skin types.  With my sensitive skin, I find that these have a warming sensation when used near my eyes, but they did not burn or cause me any sensitivity issues – which I like.  They did remove my makeup fairly easily, but my waterproof mascara was a little more difficult to take off.  They smell like coconut – hello bonus! And, I love the easy and convenient packaging, which make them a grab when on the go and the packaging is totally cute.  I love how it matches the palette – super fun!
