I know, I know… Halloween has come and gone, but I didn’t have a chance to post this earlier so I’m playing catch up right now.  The boys and I had fun with some LED Light Up Devil Horns we got off of Amazon and we are still enjoying it even after Halloween has passed.

LED Devil Horns

Looking for a quick costume or something fun?  Check out these Light Up LED Devil Horns.  They are just $9.00 on Amazon and I love that they fit my rather large head and my quaff of hair- which is a bonus since most headbands don’t fit me properly.  With a tiny little button, you can turn the light on and off on the horns and it is fun and festive.

Since Halloween supplies, costumes and decor always go on sale after Halloween is over, this is the perfect time to stock up on costume supplies for next year.  Check it out and see if this is something that works for you.  Pair these horns with a bold red lip and a cat eye liner and you are ready to rock out your Halloween costume for next year.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

While out shopping on Saturday, a friend of mine tagged me in a post on Ipsy.  I took the second to read it since I was waiting in line at the cash register.  Low and behold… Ipsy featured my Leopard Halloween look on their page.

For me, it was definitely an awesome moment.  I have been featured on a few sites before and I’m always so thankful, but I was very honored to be featured on a Facebook Page like Ipsy since there are so many beauty and makeup lovers that follow the page.  It was also awesome to find out that my picture received over 80 likes. Yay!Sometimes I forget that other people notice my work.  I love doing what I do because it is fun and I love sharing my love of makeup and beauty with others, so it is definitely a great thing to be featured knowing that others see your hard work and commitment to it as well.Have you heard of Ipsy?  If not – click on the link and check it out… it’s  a $10 a month subscription where you get 4-5 Beauty Product Samples or Full Size items each month.  In the past I have received everything from Urban Decay and Benefit to NYX and so much more.  It’s definitely worth the cost each month and you can check out some of my “Is it Worth It?” Videos on my YouTube Channel.

Anytime my Husband, Sons and I have some family togetherness is always a plus and last weekend it was no exception.  Since my husband had the day off, we spend our Saturday traveling to the Kula Country Farms to choose out the perfect pumpkin to carve.   It was a warm day but nonetheless we all had so much fun going through the pumpkin patch and looking at all of the displays.
Choosing the perfect pumpkin is never easy, but we managed to find a pretty awesome one.  We always try to find one that is slightly flat on one side and round on the other side.  Those tend to be a bit easier to carve.  It is also important to make sure and get one where the stem is still well intact so it will be perfect when putting the lid back on top – it’s the pretty factor. lol
The boys enjoyed their time at the Pumpkin Patch.  And we had fun looking at all the little crafty attractions that they have set up around the farm.
Going to the Pumpkin Patch has turned into a yearly family tradition with us.  If my husband can’t make it, I’ll take the boys – but the last few years my husband’s schedule has allowed us to attend.  Hopefully today or tomorrow we will be able to carve our pumpkin.  I lost our pumpkin carving tools, so I’m on the hunt for them. 🙂  I hope you are all having time with your Family this Holiday Season!
From our house to yours… Happy Pumpkin carving! <3 ~Honey
