I’m always interested in trying out new and innovative devices and technology when it comes to beauty or skin care.  Let’s face it, our world is constantly evolving and that includes devices that can help with all kinds of beauty related issues.  I also enjoy a product that is easy to use and will assist in your daily beauty needs.  I was given the opportunity to try the Swiss Ultimate Labs Sonic-Ionic Infusion Wrinkle-Eraser Wand & Under-Eye Massager and here are my thoughts on this little gadget.

First off, the shape of this massaging tool is definitely interesting.  It retails for under $30 and currently on sale for $16.  It’s a cool little tool that comes ready to use right out of its packaging – battery and all.  What does it do?  Using gentle, negative-ion, micro-electric pulses it gently pushes your favorite essential oils, creams and serums deeper into your skin providing a noticeable reduction in appearance of find lines, eye-bags and lines around the mouth.  This little unit has ultrasonic therapy that promotes increased circulation to reduce puffy eyes, promotes deeper, effective eye treatments and reduces dark circles.  Within 2-3 weeks you will noticeably see or feel firmer skin in the areas you have treated.

This product is light weight and portable which makes it easy to take with you during travel.  It can be used on the forehead, around the lips and brow area and under the eyes.  It is also an FDA registered device.  Another cool thing is that the company offers a 100% Money Back Guarantee.

So here is how I used it and my results from the product.  I am a serum addict so I found that it worked well with any of the serums I loved to use.  After applying my serum or cream to my under eye area, I would start to use the Ionic Eye Device.  By lightly applying (touching) the device to the skin in which I want to treat and pressing softly on the silver button along the length of the device, the device will automatically sense the contact electronically and go to work.  This unit encourages absorption of the treatment to your skin and also provides a light massage.  You will continue massaging on each section that you want to treat for 30 seconds and you can do this each night before bed when doing your beauty regimen.

The companies claim is that in 4-6 weeks, your fine lines and puffiness are visibly reduced and the area under eyes appears significantly younger.  I have definitely noticed a difference in places I apply my serums and treat.  The puffiness under my eyes have decreased enough for me to take notice after just a few short weeks.  At the price point, I think it is definitely worth a try.

There are so many devices on the market today with a wide range of price points, but while some will offer you a little bit of improvement when it comes to your skin, others may not work at all.  I have fairly good skin and so when it comes to trying out new products and devices, I tend to see results or not if something works or doesn’t.  In this case, I can definitely say this product does offer some form of improvement if even just a massage for my tired eyes and facial lines.  I think it’s worth the try especially at the price.

I can’t believe it is that time of year again!  Last week all three of my boys went back to school.  My eldest started his first year of Middle School and my twins were off to Kindergarten.  I’m not gonna lie, my schedule is naturally busy but getting back into the routine of school again is always a challenge for everyone in our house.  As if our schedules were not already tight, my eldest also started Football Season the other day and practice has us going five to six days a week… exhausting. There are many things that keep me going while my schedule has me running on fumes and I’m always lucky to find a little sweet treat that not only satisfies that little chocolate craving – but also helps to curb my appetite a couple of extra minutes while I get things situated before dinner.  This year, I’ve been enjoying M&M’S® Crispy as a snack and love sharing them with my husband and my sons.

While the boys are in school and I’m planning for the week ahead or focusing on a deadline that is upcoming, I enjoy popping two or three of these milk chocolate crunch treats in my mouth.  I’m not gonna lie, sometimes it helps me focus a bit and there are times when I need something in my tummy to help my brain work faster – lol.  These are portable and make a great snack while enjoying your summer festivities (especially if you are still on summer break) or a great after school snack for my boys when they have completed their homework.

Looking Cool in My Summer Shades – Westwood Sunglasses

If you watch any of my videos or follow me on Instagram, you know that I practically live in sunglasses and polarized ones are my absolute favorites.  I believe that if a great pair of sunnies are worth the cost, I’ll buy it – hence the reason for my large Maui Jim collection.  Call me a sunglasses snob, I want a certain look, feel and quality of lens when it comes to sunglasses and prefer the best.  Recently I was sent a pair of sunglasses from Westwood and I immediately fell in love with it.  There are not many sunglasses with similar shapes to these that I have enjoyed in the past so I am truly enjoying this pair and I wanted to share them with you.

I really enjoy that this series of books offers you not only a wealth of information, but it is something that you can pass down for generations, sharing with your own children.  The books offer everything from the beginning through the first weeks after pregnancy and well into your child’s second year (What to Expect® the Second Year) making it a hub of information.  The books were my guide in Postpartum where I struggled and continue to struggle today and have been such help in combating an issue that many women experience.  After having my twins, I experienced major depression and my hands were so busy with my sons, I didn’t realize what was happening to me.  A quick glance at the book and I was able to determine that it was time to visit my doctor and I’m glad I did because I was diagnosed with severe postpartum depression.  Without a little push from the book, I may have allowed such a big deal to take over and I may have not realized what was happening.  I still deal with my depression today as a result of postpartum, but thankful it was caught in time before anything drastic occurred.
